Looking for a 4TB storage Seedbox

Hey, I got a BF seedbox deal from P*****M**** on November 28, but since the seedbox hasn't been working since day one and “support” is not willing to help me, I'm looking for a comparable offer:

  • 4 TB HDD
  • Use of (rootless) docker or even full root access
  • 10 Gbit bandwidth would be ideal, but less would also be okay if it drives the price up too high
  • Location EU

Max $6.50/m

    Confirmed :D

  • Maybe it's an obvious thing, but how do Seedboxes work?

the seedboxes from pulsedmedia you get a long address and enter to a simple panel where you can open transmission or another torrent site.
a link to downloads your file, or publics

are simple but works, no other kind of access, i think ftp only. i used to have some last year.

  • Ultra.cc helped me to get my ratio up quickly and it's the cheapest I got.

  • I've been looking for a less expensive seedbox than the one I have with Feralhosting and haven't found any with 4 TB in that price range. If you find something please let us know.

Weird...I also got a 4TB seedbox from @PulsedMedia on BF and it's been working great. Just like the others I've had in the past from them.

Why do I suspect there's more to this story...?

Usually you get an rutorrent web interface and ssh/sftp access. At least, you do with PulsedMedia but I recall the same with other providers.

The advantage is that everything is setup and ready to go.

Some fancy dedicated server seedboxes have plex, filebot, etc. preconfigured for you.

Could be just bad luck, so many new accounts, so much new software built just before BF, and being swamped AF with tickets, support load high and meanwhile traveling across the globe support is a bit delayed (then again, the promise is: https://pulsedmedia.com/support-charter.php ).

So i guess he just expected more / faster support if there is an actual issue.
There's still some backlog to handle from black friday weekend, minor stuff. Afaik, everyone has their service running.

or "not working" could be anything truly, like some of the advanced features (docker rootless w/ overlayfs ... it's a finicky one!), or the non-supported but still provided things bugging (install media stack ... tried to craft new one fast, but turns out old with updated URIs would have probs worked better) or whatever. Maybe he is the french guy who demanded SUDO, Distro change, setting up all the ARRs for him on his behalf. And i mean DEMANDED, that was his huge ticket ending, outright demands. Who knows with this info. Who knows.

There's always something more than "not working", but sadly "not working" is all we get and got to find the crystal ball to fix it and ask the spirit of the lamp who didn't open a ticket even if they had an issue at times.

Not with us tho, some other providers maybe.

I'm actually quite sure that it was just bad luck, and that's not a big deal, these things happen.

This is not the case at all.

I opened a ticket and described my problem in detail, including the errors in the terminal output. I only wrote “doesn't work” here in the post because it is irrelevant here what exactly is not working.

By “not working” I mean that the service is not as promised to the extent that I cannot use it as planned, while support acts as if there is no problem, even though I have provided factual evidence of this.
