ISP was the culprit. Routing traffic through cloudflare tunnel gives better latency and speeds.

A situation, advice any solution-
The speeds to the immich server fluctuate randomly when directly connecting to the immich server, on 1 day it is great on another day it is in KBs.
However, when I connect to byeDPI tunnel locally, the connection is stable and goes easily upto 300mbps.
Anyway to bypass this throttling to my vps by ISP?
Cloudflare tunnel is one solution but it caps upload size to 100MB and immich doesn't support chunking

I thought a restock might still come but it's not looking likely anymore. Was tomorrow on 30th November, then once the backlog of tickets is sorted on 2nd December, then within 48 hours on 7th December. Still no sign of anything
If you have access to any other server/node try jumping through there. Downloading from certain places goes way faster using one of my machines in Germany as ssh jumpbox. Even a simple HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy can make a difference if you haven't got SSH access.
Oh BTW; iperf3 from ftpde1 to my Turin VPS;

Maybe using something like cloudflare tunnels or tailscale! I dont know just wild guessing.
You have built in webhosting so 80 and 443 open. I think some other apps might give you additional ports but don't quote me on that.

It was way difficult to try to build it on a ultra restricted storagebox. Finally gave up because of very low help available for immich run other than docker.
Jailshell restricts running any user program to be run in background. Everything dies once session logged out.
Run immich cheap vps, mount with rclone ssh storagebox?

It really is purely a numbers game for many, huh :-D
Even 500MB/s far exceeds what 99% ever will need. There are many ways to get high burst numbers. As far as I know bero host uses ZFS which are great at using RAM to cache initial writes. It'll falter during sustained throughput.
I could enable writeback caching to archive same benchmark speeds but it would inherently increase the risk of data loss during a power outage and it won't increase real life performance.
