sleep is always the best decision..

  • for an hour now i've been only logging into my new 9 VPS, making sure nothing lost, some need OS install, need to add all to munin monitoring, documenting IPv4s and IPv6 where possible, change hostnames, not even passwords yet or SSH ports, just logged in to everything... usually takes 15-20min to set up new VPS, add 2-3 min for each extra, as i line up all putty windows and just insert commands from a text file (in groups), easier like that.. but with 9 VPS all in different providers it is taking so long, that i now have to stop for breakfast, then resume after with updates and installs of needed softwares and such..

too much work.. i am lazy

Would it be possible to make a script that would automate most of it, assuming most of the process is repetitive?

  • Is LET slow again for anyone?

Why not to use regular openssh commands from windows?

Crazy they even wanted camera permissions. For me, even things like Steam and discord to easily login/approve signins on my phone, I only grant the permission the "one time" when I actually use it.

Yup, the app in itself is a useful one. With all the scams going on, it lets you check if there are any other phone numbers in your name and ig it also runs malware analysis on your phones.
But, shoving it down every customer's phone shouldn't have been done

So I bought a switch 2 today, rather this evening... A friend broke hers and knows I wanted a switch 2 but couldn't justify it to myself since I have an oled and there's not many switch 2 exclusives yet so she offered to pay half the switch 2 mario kart bundle and the official microsd express card if I gave (technically sell) her my oled. It's taking forever to download all my games/dlc that automatically triggered from the transfer option. I did end up buying a 512G card on amazon but it won't be here for a bit, hopefully it's easy to migrate to a new card or easy to re-download some of the games (do plan on deleting the games/updates that require the card first). I almost filled up one of the 256G storage

you really must like Nintendo.. for me Xbox ally will do good, as i do have an xbox . but it seems ally is more expensive, i remember spending $500 on the xbox like 3-4 years ago or so...

I have a xbox series x too, I even bought a fpga that can play games/consoles that could easily be emulated on my steam deck, pc, or even those check pirated handhelds you can buy in many stores/amazon. Heck, can even emulate switch 1 stuff on the deck easily. But it's not the same as using actual hardware and multiplayer with friends.

Though I do agree on their pricing for the console and games but if you think other systems aren't going to do the same thing you're tricking yourself. I mean, look at their price increases they've done for hardware that's already made/in stores.

Gotta bit at some discount and its not all that bad. Just gotta catch those deals.

Yes, that's true. I don't have many friends who own Switch or for that matter any Nintendo gear. It's prolly cause Switches aren't officially sold in India and thus lack warranty.

Oh ok, they're really popular here with kids. Easy to being along for trips as well.

you get the spam block after 5 and only get the warning when you try the 6th. And if you try before those 2 minutes are up, it resets the timer :joy:

Yah, I used to get hit with those like crazy during my first NY thread while I was competing against the great FrankZ. Since then, I have been careful. Oh yes. That's actually quite normal. I read this years ago. Sony was actually losing money on the PS4. Their PlayStation business was so designed to make them money on games and accessories rather than on the console itself. Some attributed the bad controller quality (stick drift, etc.) to this tactic so their accessories sale would icnrease.

My controllers are always the first thing to break. And I don't even play that much.

They had the mario kart bundle for the same price as the console only. Not a crazy discount but still better than nothing, I essentially got the game for free.

Yeah, I have lots of friends and family with nintendo stuff so it's kind of a must. Do also have friends with PCs/other consoles too. Though I do like Nintedo's stuff, it's different compared to a xbox/ps/pc. PC is ahead of ps/xbox but one could argue they're basically the same where nintedo is kind of in their own lane. While I do like Nintendo, I'm not one of those blind fans, I know Nintendo does Nintendo things...

Pc games are great though. I do like playing on the TV bigger screen, better experience

Nintendo is famous for suing websites and ROM holders. But, theyr aren't completely wrong there since it's their IP they are fighting for. I believe they also were able to shut down a Switch emulator project completely. I have used a Lite before and played RDR on it. Could say right away the game was well-polished and optimsied to run on Switch hardware, the first doesn't have the best sepcs.
I wish Nintendo would spend more on porting PC games.

They've come a long way after the years though. Back them games were real basic compared to pc games.
