Looking for AMD EPYC Dedicated Server, RAM 256GB, 2TB NVMe in US/EU

edited December 2025 in Requests

I’m looking for a dedicated server with the following requirements:

Preferred CPU Options (Must be AMD EPYC):
• Dual AMD EPYC 7502
OR
• Dual AMD EPYC 7402
OR
• Single/Dual AMD EPYC 7702
OR
• Single/Dual AMD EPYC 7713

OR Higher

RAM: 256GB OR 512GB
Disk Space: 2TB NVMe
Location: US or Europe (Europe preferred)
Budget: up to $170/month

No Intel CPUs, No (Desktop CPUs), EPYC only

Intended for regular websites only (for news websites).

For context: I was previously a long-term customer of Contabo for 8 years and currently using BinaryRack for 2 years till now. I’m now looking for an additional AMD-based server.
I’ve seen offers from providers like GorillaServers, but the ping and throughput to my target region were not suitable.

@WootWoot prices are good, but there are no more servers available.

Please share your offers if you can meet these requirements.

As I mentioned in my request, I’m looking for either a higher-thread single CPU or a dual-CPU.
If you can provide [Dual] EPYC 7443P, that would work for me.
I’m also fine with increasing the budget by an additional $20, making it $170/month.

Let me know if this configuration is possible.

I actually mentioned in my post that I tested GorillaServers, but the ping and throughput to my target region weren’t suitable.
You can try https://ping.pe to see the issues:
    GorillaServers (glass):
    https://ping.pe/23.239.96.225
    https://ping.pe/104.250.131.151

This isn’t meant to criticize GorillaServers, they simply don’t meet the specific routing requirements I need.

The 7443P is a single-socket model and does not support dual-socket configurations. We currently don't have other more suitable models available, we hope you'll be able to find something that better meets your needs. :)

mb I’m blink. Not an issue for me but I agree despite they being close to WebNX, their network blend/route somehow is inferior to WebNX.

@MagdAlmuntaser - We can offer EPYC 7642 or EPYC 7K62 (both are 48 Core / 96 Thread models). Happy to offer in EU (BG and DE), but problem would be with the RAM, fitting in your budget. If you can deal with 128GB RAM - we will come a lot under budget actually. You may even consider 2x machines, giving you double the compute and storage.

Just to clarify, GorillaServers is not only close to WebNX, their servers are actually WebNX servers. In other words, I believe GorillaServers is essentially a reseller of WebNX. If you check both websites and scroll down to the footer, you’ll see they share the same address. And if you look up that address on Google Maps, you’ll only find signage for WebNX

I can easily clarify this, as that's not exactly accurate. GorillaServers is not a reseller of WebNX. They are sister companies, with entirely separate physical networks/equipment.

The ping test you are linking is probably causing the looking glass servers to filter traffic. I'll have someone look at that.

In either case, hope this helps and good luck!

Wow, your reply made me realize I was wrong when I spoke about you while you weren’t here to clarify things. I apologize if my comment came across in a negative way. That’s why I tried to avoid any criticism in my responses, because my request was purely technical. So I’m sorry for anything that went off track.

And as you mentioned, please check the (looking glass), because it’s genuinely the only reason I hesitated to order from you. If you have any IP outside of the current looking glass for a ping test, I would really appreciate it.

Your offers on the website are still the best so far.

No problem at all, I just wanted to clear that up as I know it can be confusing that they're in the same DC location(s). I'm having a tech look at the LG servers today as it's likely just filtering traffic from this from some aggressive rules.

Yeah given the location of GorillaServers in Utah, the routing isn't always the best depending on whee you are pinging from. If you are in US, there should be no issues but globally... EU locations like Amsterdam, Frankfurt are probably the best. May need to find a provider in US East (NYC Metro or Ashburn) or Chicago for better connectivity or even Texas.

Alright, I’m going to order this. But I noticed it comes with a /29. Can I upgrade to a /28 instead? I need around 12 IPs in total. And if there are any additional fees for this, how much would they be?

  • GorillaServersGorillaServers Member, Patron Provider

Those are instant provision, so it comes with exactly what it says then you can add on IPv4 if needed. Extra /28 would be +$13 monthly

  • I’m still looking for a server. We couldn’t move forward with @GorillaServers because they want payment in crypto, and we only use official international payment methods. What made us even more concerned is that they haven’t replied to our ticket since the 5th, If this happens before ordering, what will it be like after getting a server?

So I don’t want to talk too much about companies. If anyone has an offer, please share it, and let’s avoid any side discussions.
