On dedicated servers, what happens when we go over the bandwidth limit?
Hi, @ColoCrossing , Is it possible for you to have a look at Ticket #238148?
The operator wrongly migrated my vps from LA DC to NY DC, and now he refuses to correct it (migrate it back).
He says that LA DC is unavailable for Black Friday offer.
I was shocked.
Thank you.
Hi, I have shared this with our support team and we will get it migrated to LA for you shortly
Hi, if the limit is exceeded, the service is suspended until the next billing cycle. You can avoid interruption by upgrading your bandwidth at any time.
Seriously $1.97/mon ?????????????????????????
For a dedicated server how much is ?
Can I get some clarification on the:
1. No customizations 2. No drive or location swapsSurely, when this drive have issue and/or wear out more than says 80% you will allow swapping it out?
During which would you give me x days to clone data over or just swap and reinstall?
Do you allow install my own device on it? It look like this one have a single PCIe slot.
nice offer
For yearly servers, does this mean that if I use 11TB on my 10TB bandwidth server, I get suspended for the rest of the year? Or does it reset monthly?
If it's "until the next billing cycle" I think it's actually a yearly limit lol.
The 10TB is per month. Bandwidth overages are billed at $0.0025/GB. You can upgrade your bandwidth at anytime.
This does not apply to hardware failures. This applies only to change requests such as switching from a 1TB HDD to a 1TB SSD, or changing the deployment location for example from Buffalo to Seattle.
Why was I able to get IPv6 on my first dedi in Buffalo and when I bought my second I was told it was not available?
We have some racks that still run on legacy Brocade switches. Those switches do not support IPv6. Your first server landed on a Juniper switch, which does support IPv6. Your second server was placed on a legacy switch, so IPv6 is not available on that port today. We plan to replace those legacy switches as part of future network upgrades.
Just confirming, so if my dedicated server uses more than its 10TB of bandwidth, it's suspended until the end of the month, even if the billing cycle is yearly? Or will I just be invoiced for whatever overage I did at the end of the month?
Hi, you will just be invoiced at $0.0025/GB for overages. Thanks for confirming!
I originally misspoke and apologize for any confusion. It is only VPS that are suspended if bandwidth exceeds the limit.
FINAL CHANCE TO ORDER, SALES END TODAY!!! We have some more of these remaining in stock!
This mysterious Toronto in California.
In a way, Toronto may be the California of Canada XD
How is traffic calculated? 'OUT' or 'IN and OUT'?
Are there any other discounts available?
I also want to buy a standalone device priced at around $120 per year.
