    Yah, there is another option you could try. PayPal is a regulated entity and on their contact page, they should have provided a link to your country's financial regulatory entity. You could also get in touch in with them, if you wanna take semi-extreme steps.

    Mine is a PayPal account that has almost 0 balance throughout the year. But, to be fair, Indian PP doesn't allow you to hold funds or spend it. You can only spend on PP through a credit card here. The funds that come into your account is auto-withdrawn to your bank account the same day.

    Yeah. If paypal didn't ban my account, 99% of my money would probably be in my bank.
    I always knew they were a shitty company and I've never trusted them. Heard too many bad stories about them. The only reason I wanted to use them, because it makes online shopping way easier. The alternative was a to get a visa debit card, so that's probably what I'm going to do now.

    I get your point. This is an issue with every major company. They have too many clients to deal with and often employ AI to do tasks that they feel are repettitive. And, AI messes up, but, most of them don't have a proper algorithm to address customer issues when AI messes up. In your case, I believe, it was some AI that first flagged your account for reasons unknown. But, can't blame PayPal completely cause they could just be becoming more cautious to make their platform safe for all, given the large amount of scams going around. In the process though, sometimes they overdo.

    Yeah I do understand why it happens. I'm mainly mad that they don't offer any way at all to appeal. So normal users like me are banned forever now!
