    • A 9.36EUR/y VPS with 1C and 1GB with Unmetered Bandwidth at 50Mbps (lol) from https://www.avsisp.com/ on Albania, I think I'm going to use this for internet routing, i2p, tor or something else
    • A 1.25USD/m VPS with a dedicated 1C, 1GB, Unmetered Bandwidth at 1Gbps (I think) from https://alice.sh/ on Salt Lake, USA. Same thing, probably for I2P, Yggdrasil and Tor
    • A 3.99EUR/m VPS with 2C and 4GB and 2TB of Storage, Unmetered bandwidth at 1Gbps (but with proper limits according to the AUP, otherwise your VPS is suspended) from https://deluxhost.net. I think I'm going to use this to expand https://patchy.moe and allow bigger uploads but I need to extend patchy first. I can also use it for offsite backups.
    • A 9EUR/y VPS with 1C, 1GB, 30TB of bandwidth at 1Gbps from https://loclix.io on New York, USA. Same thing again, I2P, Yggdrasil and Tor
    • A 6.95USD/y VPS with 1C, 1.5GB (?) with idk how many bandwidth from https://dedirock.com on Los Angeles, USA. Same thing again again, I2P, Yggdrasil and Tor
    • A 9.99USD/m (It was supposed to be like 4USD but it charged me 9.99USD probably because I took too long to register and pay) with 4C (Xeon Gold), 8GB of RAM and Unmetered Bandwidth from https://lifeincloud.com on Romania. Since I lost the deal I'm going to cancel it at the end of the month and I'll use it as an Invidious backend for now. It was a good deal and I was going to keep the server but since I lost the deal, whatever.
    • And one of the best deals I could have picked ever on my fucking life: x3 8USD/m VPS with 4C (Xeon Gold ~4Ghz) 8GB of RAM and 10GB of storage (xD), Unmetered Bandwidth at 1.5Gbps from https://infofractal.io on Chile, one is going to be used for Invidious as I already use one for it, one for routing from my selfhosted server and the 3rd one, no fucking idea, probably it was a compulsive buy so I may downgrade it just to keep it cheap because I don't want to cancel it.

    And yeah I'm going to use NixOS for all the servers because managing them manually is suicide.

    i wasnt feeling it this year. it feels like the market squeeze on components is going to rock the lowend market and theres been a lot of provider consolidation. many of my favorite providers arent really pushing incredible deals so i havent been looking for discounts as much

    I don't idle like I used to, but I couldn't ignore the Gullo KVM offer. As it has a FreeBSD template, I might actually end up putting it to use!

    Still hoping to find another server to add to my personal backup storage. It's insane how many bits one collects/generates anymore!

    But, otherwise, nothing this year really grabbed me to impulse buy. Alas.

    EDIT: I might be interested in a deal in a "non-DMCA" area, for as-yet-undetermined needs. Every time I think in that direction, I just kinda get lost in the details and give up on those projects.
