Hey mate @225thinker, you changed the cart on the final step and got cheat price, why you try to looks like victim? If you want bundle, take all, if not, just forgot.

    The bundle system seems broken.
Jabjab could order 11 servers for $26.
When I try it on mobile sometimes I see checkout it after 2 servers, sometimes after 1.

I wouldn’t blame the customer saying “you removed it”. The system is broken for sure.

If it broken and you try to use it for ordering some items and you do not got this items, that's not mean you're victim, you tried but not luck, few weeks ago some people try to order 10c/16g offer for 7/y from DediRock by the hidden link and got 1c/1g for 7/y. They tried, but not luck. Just leave it.

Well, using a hidden link intentionally is different from just clicking through a broken ordering system and expecting the terms of the invoice being enforced as a customer. It’s as simple as it is.

Plus now that they are leaking customer details without taking their time to scrub the details, it shows a further lack of professionalism.

I am definitely not renewing my packages anymore.

Don't worry about it. This stuff can take a while to get updated when someone takes over a new block of IPs.

It was transferred from an Iranian ISP recently:

EDIT: screenshot got fcked, updating link

I checked ping.sx, which I have used for years -- here's what they are reporting as of this moment:

151.244.214.218 Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran (shatel.ir)

And by the way, Velox admitted it was currently Iran in a support response to me, subject to changing at some point.

IPs are bought, IPs are sold, but the geoip update speed is slow.

Well if people keep relying and trying to rebuttal it for no good reason, it does seem to be getting important enough to hurt some egos :D

I think just because this is lowendtalk doesn’t mean it always needs to scrap the bottom of the barrel. We can do better. And calling out bad practices is just that.

Hey if it ruffled some feathers, it is what it is

  • The Iranian IP was not the issue, I would have let it sit and use it last (if I ever found something for another 3 VPSes to do within the next 12 months) and hope that it didn't cause any issues, I suppose. But imagine a legit US business having an IP that showed Iran! In our current bad faith world, that could be made into a real problem.

My point in posting my support questions was to show I was a) not afraid of immediately calling their attention to my account and the 50% off I somehow received, b) very appreciative and friendly.

But imagine shit getting updated in few days and that US business can shut their worries down?

Like from what I've just checked, it's in Fremont.

    Drama queen? No ?

Those results are literally all over the place (at this moment in time). Hopefully for whomever draws that IP, the drones have the very latest IP address data!
