  All I can say is I got some nice things:

  • ?? EUR/y strike.bz 1c3g unmetered@1Gbps offer in Gdańsk, PL from @3K33 . Really happy about this one - Great CPU, IPv6 enabled, unmetered, privacy focused and good latency-wise for my location. Checks all boxes for me. 10/10
  • 3 EUR/y 2c4g 40TB@10Gbps in NL Axushost from @djunior .I think this is still one of the best value deals posted this BF overall. I'm so happy I was able to get it. Mostly just my luck too (I wasn't aware it's 3 EUR/y when I ordered). 10/10.
  • $8/qtr 1c2g10g unmetered@1Gbps from Infofractal in Santiago, Chile @jfrac - One of the most exciting for me. I was looking at Infofractal for a long time but either I hesitated to buy or it was OOS. I don't think one can get much better service for the price in Chile. Easily 11/10

  Apart from that, I have seen some great deals from providers I already have a service with:

  • $20/y metrovps in Bangladesh. Very stable, really worth it! @MetroVPS_NMP @rafathossain
  • $20/y sitehub in Nigeria from @HostDoc . Great uptime and hardware, very generous offer
  • aluy in multiple locs, I think I've seen some $7/y in this thread @aluy
  • solidseovps - All I can say is they're great. I'm happy for everyone who got their deals this time! @SolidVPS

  I really wished (but not managed) to get :

  • 14 EUR/y @MAXKO_hosting deal in ZA
  • 90% off @Zappie in ZA or NZ

  Hopefully next year

  And finally there were no interesting deals in East/Northern Africa or West/Central Asia.
  Maybe providers offering such will appear on LET as I would be really interested in those locs.

  It’s indeed quite a list for a first timer!

  Last year I scored like 18 servers ranging from $5 to $8 per year, and that was my first BF in LET as an active participant, even though I’ve been here since 2018.

  This year, I’m no longer on the receiving side but on the offering side. Hope some of you’ve grabbed a few and enjoyed the deals!

  If you ordered something and you get buyer's remorse, please try not to forget:

  1. You are not the only one. We all get attracted to cheap offers. This is the very reason why this forum has "low-end" in its name.
  2. This place is also for fun, it is why we are here (both consumers and providers together). Remember this fun in future; you will feel much better when keeping the service as a memory of the good times you had in a megathread.
  3. If you keep regretting buying, but also don't want to discard the service, then donate it. There are many projects online where you would feel much better by contributing anonymously for humanity not with money, but with computing resources. Such projects are like Tor Relay or Syncthing but these are just some examples - there are also others out there.
  4. If the service puts a problem in your budget, you can recover some of that by transferring it. Simply open a thread for service transfer.
  5. Don't forget to thank the providers by acting professionally. They made the services for you, therefore try not to load their support or abuse them by increasing their costs. They are emotional humans on Black Friday when designing their offers, just like you are emotional when ordering.
