    RackNerd Cyber Monday when?

Let us make some noise for it.

it's nocyber tuesday already.. stop making noise for the days gone by.. =)

How about Cyber week then? Party all week?
BTW, is that a think? I have been seeing Cyber week sales on the web on many e-tailers. I believe it's just a week invented by e-tailers to sell.

black week maybe, cyber week is only a thing at places that do purely online stuff, like lets say place i frequent CHEWY - only sells pet food online, no stores, - so they been calling recent week - a cyber week. not the week after the monday tho.

Ah ok, that makes sense. But, anyways, we don't need a holiday to hype on this thread! It's already a party!
We could make giveaway requests for random reasons, the closest one I feel would be page 600!!!

Correction, it could very well be for 2M views. Just checked right now and saw we are already at 1.9M views!!!!!

it's in big part indexers, you know? google, openai, etc. the more posts here, the more they scan and rescan, go thru every page to find if anything changed. it really snowballs the numbers of views.

While crypto would be an alternative, not all hostings accept it. I mainly want a solution where I can pay like almost everywhere

Payoneer gives you visa (or maybe mastercard) debit card, but getting money into Payoneer is easier by getting paid online for services rather than deposit

Wise is another option, they give a card as well, it's same as Revolut. both these started as alternatives to bank WIRE transfers.. but evolved into whole money platforms

but IMHO all of these above charge per transaction, which makes a 3EUR payment become 5EUR etc.. fee is usually same for any amount.

BTW all 3 of those give you localized bank accounts, per continent or per country, so technically you can wire money from your bank account into those, and funds become available across platform, can move between those bank accounts or put into card. it's actually quite useful if you getting paid online and wanna receive money in special currency without the step where you convert from 1 to another.

Infact, Payoneer is the recommended payment for Amazon affiliates here in India, given, the only other option is a cheque which takes a month to arrive and another month to clear in an Indian bank, if everything is perfect. Even Amazon affiliate support recommends (semi-officially, Ig) getting a Payoneer account instead of going through all that hassle and a little extra if your cheque were to get lost, which is another nightmare of its own.

yeah, Payoneer is good. they are a publicly traded company, i have their stock, although it's not performing well and been at a loss since it came to markets, but i still believe they will become a good stock at some point..

Yah, I have seen them around for quite a long time now. I guess, a decade or so ago, before multiple alternatives popped up, many freelancers opted for Payoneer, second to PayPal. Wonder why they couldn't be as popular as PayPal.

they work mostly with working people. you can pay for services using Payoneer or get paid for doing a gig or providing a service, but normally like paying on ebay - that's not their thing.. plus paypal is with ebay, so was bound to get big.

    Hello RackNerd and Dustinc :)

Here my order number to double my bandwidth please #3704668620
You said order number ? right ? Cause everybody give invoice number :o

I bought my VPS during the Cyber Monday, but I coulnd't write down this message at that moment cause I created my Low End Box account at the same time and have to wait my account be validated by admins.
    Hoping it's not too late.

    Thanks :)

  • @bchot said: but IMHO all of these above charge per transaction, which makes a 3EUR payment become 5EUR etc.. fee is usually same for any amount.

Ooh €2 is a lot imo

@noob404 said: Or, just pay someone trusted in NL with an active credit to pay on your behalf if that's an option.

Afaik, hostbrr doesn't allow that. But I could always ask in a ticket :)

@noob404 said: If nothing else does work for you, then crypto would be the best option, ig.

While crypto would be an alternative, not all hostings accept it. I mainly want a solution where I can pay like almost everywhere

Oh I see, then, I guess your best bet would be to get a legally valid virtual credit card. Have you already contacted your bank regarding this? Maybe they do have a provision to give you pre-paid virtual credit cards, if physical credit cards aren't an option.

And, please be careful. I am sure you already know this, but, just to be safe, I am gonna put it in words. DO not get those sketchy virtual credit cards from shady websites.

    Of course xD
I want to get it from like a bank or something. Like revolut.
And yeah, maybe my bank does offer visa cards, but afaik, it's not fully rolled out.

Yah, seems unjust for a 3 euro transaction.
