Regarding this on your homepage "Sign up and get 25% account credit bonus on your first invoice" and "Starting November 18, 2024, all verified users will receive a 25% bonus on their first recharge." at https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/199286/onidel-cloud-25-recharge-bonus-hourly-billing-high-performance-vps-across-apac-sg-syd-vn/p1:

    • Does it mean we get 25% account credit bonus on our first payment and then get another 25% account credit bonus on our next recharge?
    • Can the bonus credits from either option be used for your S3-compatible object storage?

Is it possible to get 60% recurring off the annual payment plan for ONI-1 (1 vCPU + 2GB RAM + 20GB NVMe) or 2 vCPU + 2GB RAM + 20GB NVMe?

basically, you get 25% account credit cashback on your first invoice - not just on the recharge. Most people recharge their account first, then use that balance plus the cashback to pay the invoice :)

to get the cashback, just sign up using any affiliate link (the button on the homepage works as well). The cashback will be added automatically after your first invoice is paid.

minimum specs: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 20 GB disk.

Just a friendly heads-up, I'm posting here because I sent you a PM back on November 10th about a critical bug on your website.
The PM has the details. When you have a moment, could you please check your private messages? Thank you! <3

fake contact form is not a critical bug.

the website will be having a new look soon anw.

Thanks for the response. I'm posting again because the problem is far more critical than just a non-functional contact form.
Seeing that my private messages weren't being answered, I tried to be helpful and report the bug via the "Phone Support" number listed on your contact page (1-888-243-2389).
The person who answered the phone told me they have absolutely no connection to Onidel.
I'm not sure if you're aware, but you are directing your customers to a phone number that belongs to a completely unrelated party. Using a fake contact form is one thing, but listing a real, incorrect phone number is a very serious issue. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for the person who actually owns that number.
This is exactly why I've had to resort to public posts and private messages. Could you please treat this with the urgency it requires and check your private messages?

links to that sample contact page were removed a while ago. if there is still any reference to it from our website, let me know and I will make sure it will be addressed.

and please refrain from overstating the matter. you only wanted me to approve your aff commissions, which you earned by leaking the flash sale code to another forum yeah?

Thank you for the reply. I need to clarify a few points, as your response contains some significant misunderstandings.
    1. Regarding the "Sample Contact Page":
You stated the link to that page was "removed a while ago." This is incorrect. Your official Terms of Service, hosted on your own knowledge base, links directly to this contact page at the very bottom.
You can verify this yourself here: https://web.archive.org/web/20251201114725/https://kb.onidel.com/hc/kb/articles/1756033443-terms-of-service
This makes it an official, active contact method presented to your customers, not a "sample page."
    2. Regarding the "Leaking" of the Flash Sale Code:
My intention was never to "leak" a private code. I acted based on your own public communication in this very forum. On November 2nd, in response to users, you yourself described the promotion as a "non effort high discount."
I, like many others, interpreted this to mean it was a publicly shareable code intended for wide promotion. If it was meant to be private, that was not made clear. I simply took your words at face value and worked hard to promote your brand.
    3. Regarding my Motivation:
Most crucially, I must object to your characterization of my actions. Yes, I initially contacted you regarding alliance revenue issues. After receiving no response, I attempted alternative methods to reach you, and it was then that I discovered these vulnerabilities and reported them to you.
I am not using this bug report as a bargaining chip. I am pointing out a serious issue—where you are directing customers to a phone number that harasses an unrelated person—out of good faith. I was trying to help you, not trade a bug report for commissions. Your insinuation that I am doing this only for my own gain is disappointing and unfair.

I hope this clarifies the situation. I have acted transparently and in good faith from the beginning. <3

    nice S3 offers.
Is the price expected to increase after the official release?

    Thanked by 2onidel Smigit
  • Be nice if any of this was true but I'm trying to order storage box 1 and it's marked as $7.56 not $2.75, even accounting for USD->AUD that should be $4. Changing the billing cycle to annual gives a 20% discount not a 50%. Promo code ONI-BF-2025 does nothing either.

  • OK the green tick worked but can I clarify whether the 1 TB HDD block storage will be available for $18/yr in Sydney when it becomes available or is purchasing one in SG and attaching it to a Sydney VM later on a possibility? I don't technically need a second VM but suffering from some serious FOMO here.

it's hard to say whether it will still be available at $18/year when it launches in Sydney, as hardware costs have increased significantly over the past few months. However, if you have a service in SG, we can help migrate it to Sydney once the service becomes available there.

Do you think you could give us a 500GB - $9/year "inaugural" offer in SG? It'll help get started with something to pair with smallish VMs and test the waters before jumping in full fledged with more moolah.

    Thank you.

i wish this had been rolled out a few months earlier. we will see if we can offer something for xmas or new year, but at that price it would only be a flash sale with very limited quantities - so it won't satisfy everyone.

I know I'm asking you to look into a crystal ball here.
But could you ballpark what sort of pricing you'd be looking at for SYD?

I was specifically going to hold off until you launch it in SYD but if pricing is going to go up I might as well lock it in now (and give your team work to migrate it later on unfortunately)

"likely", You inspire so much confidence. I know hardware pricing is mental right now but ouch aha.
Honestly it's fine if the answer is no, (promo) pricing will definitely be going up. Just lemme know so I can put an order through before it closes.

Hell, I'll pay now if you want to mark the service as "do not deploy, for SYD" or something. I'm really just trying to save you guys work later on. Plus over-provisioning SG when my intention the entire time has been for SYD instead.
