@FAT32 what can we buy for $5 next?

I am not sure. Maybe a Mcdonalds burger?

maybe half of one with inflation

Ya I mean 5 US DOLLAR not 5 TINY AUSSIE DOLLAR

    this is 7 USD btw

Is it really as shown in the picture?

    usually more like this

What did you do to deserve a burger looking like that?

unfortunately these 14 year olds working at maccas for $7 an hour have no work ethic these days

I literally say that everytime I’m there… when I worked at hungry jacks for $4.13/hr - we fuking werked hard - like HARD. I mean, I did eat LOTS of nuggets - but I still worked hard and made good looking burgers.

Saw some kid get fired after making sloppy shit burgs for an hour

I can hear that 'back in my time...' vibes

I can feel it too, but it wasn’t a burger job, and the hourly wage back then was very low.

I applied the Coupon and when I paid I got charged 9.99 dollars...

Do you want even more VPS?

Not really, but I like picking really good deals so I can put those VPS to good use like an I2P node, Yggdrasil node, maybe a Tor relay too since the internet is being too censored for people on Australia, Europe and specially the UK (The UK insanely shit now).

I got an storage box from DeluxHost with 2TB and I think I'm going to use that to host https://patchy.moe, but I'm not sure to move everything of patchy.moe to that 2TB VPS since it's hosted on Netherlands, probably making uploads and downloads kinda slow for South America which is the main audience.

Because of that I'm thinking of extending Patchy to a more distributed system that can work with multiple servers, each one maintaining it's own set of files but with shared communication for database updates so each Patchy server can know on which node a file was uploaded, and provide the file from that node. Kinda a complicated setup but I would like to do it.

Just replace content in javascript!1oneeoneO!1oneone on quote. I believe you can hook it up (c) DediRock.

It will work for most people, it will make life easier.

I like this name, maybe I will install AlmaLinux on my idler rather than Debian?!
I can alias apt-get to something and still idle, right?!

I was a debian guy then switch to almalinux I think the performance is better

Cat.exe trying Kubernetes, crashing constantly :'(

16GB VPS, $20–35/student-cat, not a full server - just enough RAM to survive another pod.

a cat is jumping in the air with the words that 's enough internet for today below it

No one loves this poor student-kitty :'(

Curling up for a nap… dreaming of 16GB VPS and Kubernetes glory next year 🐾💻💤

a group of cats are sitting on a wooden floor and one of the cats is yawning .

    Fine fine hold on.

Any fine gentleman can make some 16GB VPS below $35/yr? This cat would like one for his project. Thank you!
