first time missing 1776, sad times
Pricing? And also put the timezone please.
Sorry, timezone is EST.
Pricing is a surprise.
Bad timezone for me but.. I'll be awake.
7AM for reference.
6AM, here we go
Have you considered lifetime deals for shared hosting, VPN or DNS? The one thing I don't need is VPS.
6:45 AM here, just woke up to see what you got @MannDude.
Oh boy
0:00 has arrived :O
@MannDude c'mon, do something..
It’s in main bf thread!
no fucking way

Some still available. I'll do some flash deals later. I'll get a provider tag first I guess.
Sweden and Bulgaria locations looking pretty popular
Probably because they're semi-exotic and new offerings from this provider.
Yep. Picked up a Lifetime 2GB in Bulgaria.
I guess I should have anticipated LET users to be... Well, y'know.
No, you're not getting a lifetime upgrades to 5Gbps and multiple IPs for a few dollars more, lol. I'll remove the options that should have been obviously unavailable.
Refunding the difference or cancelling and refunding the order in full, your call.
Edit: was only one person so will probably just honor it. Fixed it so others can't do the same...
We see CSS position bug for the Available tag, but only affecting 512MB packages probably related to title length.
Browser is Chrome iOS on iPhone 16e.
Just curious, is there a specific reason you went with OBE.net/Obenetwork AB?
Also I believe the DC is the Kista, not the Älvsjö one. Is that right?
Same POP as Heartbeat-IT, which is our provider in Switzerland and Amsterdam. Was Max's choice, not mine
I'd love to see IncogNET engage more directly on Mastodon, the engagement there tends to be really high in terms of how much genuine interaction you get per X number of followers, and there are a lot of privacy enthusiasts and Big Tech skeptics ... but if they look at your account and see nothing but crossposts from Tw*tter they're gonna keep right on going. I tried to get ahold of you on there about stock availability a couple times a while back and got no response. There's low-hanging fruit waiting to be collected!
Mastodon would love to be its own European big tech if it could. No where as decentralised as it claims.
It looks like Incognet gave up on Mastodon in September. Not surprising as almost none of the posts they posted there got any engagement.
Geekbench 4 YABS on Sweden location (512 MB RAM)
Geekbench 6 YABS on Sweden location (2 GB RAM)
I'll try. We did have our Twitter feed automatically cross posted to Mastodon (And Telegram) but that feature seems to have broke. Let me see why.
It's just difficult to juggle all the social media stuff so for sake of general ease just maintain an X profile and let it get automatically posted to Telegram and Mastodon, or at least, that was the original intention.
To be fair I never really logged in or had notifications enabled. All those posts were automated from our X feed.
@ServerBachelor Not bad
Hopefully geoIP DBs update soon. You can view our geofeed here: https://geofeed.as40663.net to confirm we have published the proper locations. (https://as40663.net getting a face lift... But I just noticed our Status page isn't updating... always something!)
Cool to see a Mastodon post today!
And yeah, I imagine it's hard to keep up with when there isn't dedicated staff, or at least somebody who has posting and reading at least some notifications in their job description.
I fixed the IFTTT bot that x-posts to our Telegram and Mastodon. (More specifically: I renewed it. Hadn't realized it expired.)
Also going to try be more active in general on it. I have time to shit-post on LET, I should find time to actually participate and promote IncogNET (and our new thing in the works) elsewhere, as well.
Those shield glasses are dope.
Still in the research stage but I've learned enough to know it's entirely possible. I've been toying with some rough designs.
IR illuminators diodes are cheap. IR reflective paints and tapes are widely available. 3D printers are common place, useful for custom designs that can still utilize off-the-shelf lenses.
What I'm most excited about is the bag. I've been traveling / living abroad for the last couple of years now. A fanny pack is very useful. I've got a background in ultralight backpacking so I'm looking forward to creating something in-house that uses some strong fabric like an x-pac variant (or less likely, DCF / Dyneema due to cost... But I still prefer using it) for the outer shell. I've had some faraday bags delivered that i've deconstructed and found even the "good ones" are cheaping out. I'm hoping to have these bags contain an attachable, but removable, interior faraday pouch for your phone and cards or whatever. Will be shielded using copper/nickel coated fabrics with a silver coated fabric layer within. Still can't say for certain and I need to get back to procuring more fabric samples and running some tests locally.
I'm sort of in a weird geographic position at the moment too, so I need to really explore what is possible in terms of shipping to North America and EU from here. Fabric materials are mostly sourced from China, because... Well, there aren't giant textile factories in every random country dedicated to producing niche fabrics. I personally want to create the first run. I can sew a little... ( -_-) ... Then beyond that want to hire locally to produce in-house.
Besides the in-house products like that, and IR illuminator glasses... I want to use Defensive Privacy to sell Google Pixel specific privacy screens, laptop privacy screens, etc. I tested some laptop screens out and found a really good "4 way privacy screen" that I really enjoy. Most are just 2 way, blocking the view of the screen from the left or the right, but from above or below the screen is clearly visible. The 4 way screen blocks the above/below.
I've also got some things I've been testing (just washed and dried the first batch to see how they hold up after a wash!) of some "privacy arm sleeves". Think... Thin mesh sleeves for your arms that mimic natural skin tones but have "tattoos" printed on them. At a glance or a small distance it just looks like you're tatted up. In combination with other things, you could safely attend a protest (for example) and not be so easily identifiable...
You get the idea...
Those are some really cool ideas! I'm def looking forward to what you come up with!
