  • Is it just me that names all their Hosthatch servers after the hatches in Lost?

  • @caocong said:
@hosthatch Haha, maybe I misread it. So the highest configuration now is $120, and if I buy it for two years, the specs double, right? If I exceed the data limit, how much will the speed be throttled? Is there an IP I can use to test the speed?

    No, not all specs.
    It's in the deal details.

    2 CPU cores
    3 GB RAM
    50 GB NVMe OS disk
    5 TB RAID-10 HDD disk
    10 TB premium bandwidth
$120 per year, $240 per two years, $340 per 3 years
Upgraded for 2 year payments with 2x RAM, 2x bandwidth and +1TB storage

Speed test is legitmately a google away.

@hosthatch - It appears that additional IPv4's on these are at the standard price ($2/m or 24/yr or 72/3yr - in the US at least) ... can these be added after delivery via ticket+invoice if I forgot to include them? (Yes, I read the OP, I know changes can't be made, etc etc... this feels more like an addition to the offered configuration at the regular price, so figured I'd just ask!) THANKS!

  • Is it over? I found the invoice was cancelled when I tried to pay.

If your invoice was cancelled, it likely has to do with fraud prevention and you can open a ticket to get that fixed.

But yes, the promotion is otherwise over and we will not take new orders.

I did a ping.pe run on the provided test IP yesterday and it was impressive. Sub 50ms to almost everywhere in China. Hoping the final mix is as good, as those speed are significantly better than Tokyo, Singapore and even HK for most of China. Guangzhou was about the same ping between Seoul and Hong Kong, which surprised me.

  • Please give more advanced notice for future final sale windows. I miss it every time. I check LET a few hours before you mention and then not a long time in between. Fucking work getting in the way!

You need to purchase seperately, it is a one time fee of 10 USD per location if I never remember wrongly.

However everytime you need to add new prefixes you need pay the 10 USD again from my understanding.

This was restored earlier today. We run a multi-homed network, so no outage is caused due to a single upstream having issues.

BGP is charged at $10 USD setup fee, per location (which covers all your servers in that location). Additional filter updates are also charged at $10 USD. We recommend adding all your prefixes in the initial setup.

@Dreamcm said: Meanwhile, has the server of the Seoul node purchased by someone been activated?

No, we're cabling everything today, but I am confident it should be within the 10 working days / 14 calendar days ETA we provided earlier.

KINX Dogok with Moack (61.111.133.1 for example, since they have a lot of different mixes) and Telstra (I think you can use 210.57.34.1). Our own LG should be up in the next day or two.
