    I am just gonna say I had more than $1000 in RackNerd credits at some point because I converted almost 3 of my wins (1x RackNerd BF thread + 2x Xmas threads) over the years.
    Fortunately, I have friends in need of VPSes and dedis. So, most of that credit has been used or is spoken for.

    Iirc, the last year's Xmas threads started within hours of the winners of the social butterfly contest on BF being announced.

    Yah, but, I believe it'd be so unfair for him cause depending on the location of various winners, he will have to spend a small fortune on shipping which seems too much to ask for, given the items themselves are already expensive (by my standards)

    Yeah, mostly repetitive and monotonous. But, I have seen him get creative even there.     Nah, the swag is all US only. I thought that was a bit mean at first last year, but when I saw how much the shipping cost after he made a one-off exception for me on the sweater hoodie, I completely understand the decision now.

    Yah shipping cost is often the deciding factor. And, sometimes the shipper also has to deal with additional charges if the recipient decides to reject the package due to high customs charges. So, there are many variables involved.
    But, during the chef spree this time, there was a backpack giveaway with international shipping.

    Can't say for sure, Sara. Dustin did say though that Chef's appearance cannot be predicted, but he does love it to his core when there's a lot of hype on the thread
