also mainly megathread... there are few providers i want to try and few services that rn does not offer (hdd, spicy locations or simly 1€/y deals)
rn is great, just i dont keep all my eggs in 1 basket (this includes any other provider and my home servers)

I understand. There was 1 resource upgrade giveaway(512mb) this time. Moreover, the recent RAM inflation does make it extremely tough. But, Dustin did say they were able to source some good amount of RAM this time iirc.

Ok. I have heard of Seagate doing proprietary stuff to these external HDDs to prevent them from being used as internal. Will have to research more. Pretty sure I can find a breakdown or disassembly video somewhere.
