FIY, I ordered from the english page and registered my new account while ordering: it switched to German at that point. It was ok for me, I can mostly read German. Once logged in the customer area after the purchase, I was indeed able to switch to English again.

Is there any AUP in place? I mean I'm not expecting you allow to utilize 100% of the CPU 24/7 in such offer but I wonder what are your limits?

They are shared cores. On average, you should not exceed 50%. That would be fair use for us. Peaks are of course not a problem, even for several hours.

yikes! i kept my limiting script at 60%.

Changing it to utilize for only 50% now.

Hi, n00b here. Can you let me know how do you limit CPU usage ?

  • About a few weeks ago I had some issue where their Black Friday L GB6 score was significantly low than what it was initially with CPU steal sometimes exceeding 30% during yabs or high CPU usage. A few back and forth later via ticket, they migrated my VPS to a new host.

Mind you, I have been with Netcup for more than 8 months and have had similar issue but Netcup was never compliant with my request. Bero host doing this for me has had a big impression. I already have 3 friends who purchased monthly plan with Bero Host and I would continue to recommend them, even without any referral program like Netcup.
    Their performance is top notch.

It's agreed that GB6 benchmark score is quite low(400-500 lesser than usual) but as this is blackfriday and new people pour in, the performance is expected.
I don't really care if the performance is slightly low, for as long as it works without causing my trouble, this is perfectly fine.
If it begins impacting my occasional high usage operation, I can rest assured knowing that they will move me to a more bearable node.

TLDR: Very good host. If performance low, they move you. Supportive staff and overall great value for money.

  • Thank you for this promo, I renewed my 12 EUR/yr 2GB RAM VPS for another year.

  • My short review

I have already experienced an 11-minute downtime within the first week of using the service.

    icmp.xxx.xxx is now UP
    Downtime: 11 min
    Target: 94.103.173.xxx[ping]
    Noticed at: 2025-12-03 20:08:39 (UTC+02:00)

There are constant TCP connection drops at the datacenter level. I think it's because of the provider's DDoS protection.

CPU steal time reaches up to 20%. The node is most likely oversold and overloaded.

If I wanted something cheap and bad, I'd go with RackNerd.

It's possible this only happened to me, I'm not sure. It's easier for me to switch to another hosting provider than to contact support and wait for the issue to be resolved.
