Ya not @AlexPads for saying "later today": https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4625592/#Comment_4625592

And what he meant is 30 hours later and still nothing

Apparently he was referring to the waiting game, which he seems to be good at.

Nothing good this year. Everything is either out of stock, super limited stock or discounts are not good enough.

Gonna vomit if I see more deals from NL/DE/US. Basically no other locations at all.

You really do have to watch the thread like a hawk this year; the good stuff goes quick

Just want that Storage #1 Spot. So 71+% discount, you are welcome.

    V10G Storage Box 4TB for .... 1.99€ A month? (6 months max)

Just want that number one spot as this showed we don't got it: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4628840/#Comment_4628840
and well. .. f-ck it let's make enough for many to join the party!

These are basicly little container machines now if you got latest updates, if not open a ticket (but don't expect immediate reply)

(if you click on the images you get rickrolled. You've been warned.)

A totally totally PG13 Storage Box!

PSSH; You can order as many as you want ...
STORAGE BOXES! STORAGE BOXES! Those you can order as many as you want.

Finally, It's been at least 2 years I wanted to try out pulsedmedia. Now I can with my 8TB recurring deal ! Thank you dear,

Thank you very much for choosing Pulsed Media!

@PulsedMedia said: Price: 1.99€ PER MONTH FOR 6 MONTHS (After 6 months normal price)

Can you at least give us a limited quantity having recurring price?

Alternatively, at least make it 12 months recurring so that at least we're covered till next BF.

I have been thinking of this, we might be able to do triennial recurring. in 3 years usage stabilizes so that the biggest cost support becomes less of a factor and we don't take such a dramatic hit, and in 3 years i would expect we are installing larger servers for that series and refurbing the oldest ones, making it economically viable.

Don't like deadpool risks, as tought as it already is making most of your revenue with classic seedboxes! (that market is -85% since it's peak, the whole niche as a thing. Somehow we managed to grow despite that ...)

  • Pulsed media is ass no offense. This is my first ever comment on here and lord knows it’s the truth. Btw any actual decent dedi deals drop around 128gb ram and 28core/ 56 thread range cheaper than 1gserver?

Biennial or Triennial recurring would be cool

no email even? Then something is wrong.

and at least one of orders in the past few hours tried to exploit and get the username root :)

Manually checked that for every order account creation was executed. Check if you got the email now.

Nothing good this year. Everything is either out of stock, super limited stock or discounts are not good enough.

Gonna vomit if I see more deals from NL/DE/US. Basically no other locations at all.

BF2024 -> I can't even sleep well in the night thinking deals can drop anytime. I stayed awake.

BF2025 -> Go to bed at 11pm. Profit.

That might have been me asking for root XD I've been auto-running deals with root/pass for VPSes today and probably did the same thing here. So less exploit and more...tired...

In any case, got the email and provisioned now, thanks!

Wait, the M10G L on the special page is way better that the 8T deal you posted for just a few euros more right ?

I will get more dedicated RAM and redundant storage.. possible to switch ? and pay the difference ?

yes you got all the software, but none of the performance. only 500MB ram and low IOWeight, and these will eventually be capped to 1-2 cores. IF abuse continues we will restrict the IO throughput and IOPS directly.

With abuse i mean people using these as seedboxes, since it consumes IOPS heavily, and seedboxing thrashes the storage layer like mad. These exist only to balance that out so seedboxes retain the IOPS per TB ratio of old ages.

IOPS is always 120 per 7200rpm drive. Was true for 250GB HDDs back in the day, and is true for today's 30TB HDDs.

SSD Caching simply does not work and introduced a lot of reliability issues. Bcache is unstable AF. By orders of magnitude our #1 stability issue currently even tho bcache is present in just a fraction of the servers. We are slowly removing it from use as timeouts, drops, corruption etc. happen.

non-recurring one time discount on the M10G Seedboxes.

You have to refund the earlier and then buy that one. You will loose some bonus disk quota from refunds: https://wiki.pulsedmedia.com/index.php/Pulsed_Media_Free_Bonus_Disk_Policy

Ah, yeah, the recurring is worth more to me, since this is just for storage. -- thanks for explaining!
