I agree, like I have to press 3 to 5 times in their dashboard to ensure my subscription is paid using the foreign currency (due to me having card with 0 FCY fee), but the moment they do conversion for me the FCY fee is shite

I always hoped they'll fucking get replaced by something more affordable because over the years they kept pushing those fees more and more. I'm still using them because of their popularity but paying ~5.5% fees for international payments kinda sucks.

@bingobangobongo, Order Placed #8528883040, double double (ram, cpu) please..

Unfortunately after honoring over 25 orders with people begging and pleading - there just isn't enough free ram to go around.

If the world hadn't of all panic bought DDR4 - then I could have given more out, but at 500% the cost of just 3 months ago - there's a limit to freebies :(

Give an inch, and they'll take a mile. Give a milliliter next time.

My wife keeps asking for an extra inch... if only!

    Ublock or noads dns?

This country has a characteristic of not liking advertisements.

I expressed myself incorrectly. Why not ublock or noads DNS, but a VPN instead?

While we wait for the Albanian VPS to be delivered, gonna setup VPN to Chile, play some CS2 with 300ms ping, such peakers advantage.

Can I understand it as a small fee for fast refunds during a refund or a disputed transaction?

They don't even honour their buyer protection. Sent them a tracking info from postal service (postnl) that the package was returned to sender, no refund issued. I had to make a police report for 12 Euro order for that... What a waste!!!

It's about currency conversion fees. PayPal claims that they're cheaper than your bank but I've never seen an example of it. Also, they don't let users have a permanent setting for this, they must have bribed thousands of people to keep legislation away from making that required.

On the mobile app, there are many times when even plugins can't block it…

Depending on what business you're having with them, in general, buyers are more protected than the sellers nowadays especially when it comes to digital goods. If you have a tracking number though, that should be a no-brainer.

Do you do normal paypal payments or paypal subscriptions?

When providers only do the subscriptions on PayPal I tend to prefer Stripe

Indeed, Stripe did become more popular over the years. Unfortunately, in my case, most customers prefer PayPal still. I've been using Stripe only for a long time now when paying for services.
