Seeking HetrixTools Alternative - Downtime Issues
Hello everyone,
I'm currently looking for a reliable alternative to HetrixTools.
HetrixTools is currently experiencing an outage and is completely down for me, which means my monitoring is blind and I'm not receiving any alerts.
I am mainly using it for:
Uptime Monitoring (HTTP/S, Ping, Port).
Basic Public Status Pages.
What are your recommendations for a reliable and affordable alternative, preferably with a good free tier or very low-cost plan suitable for low-end users (similar to HetrixTools pricing)?
I am open to both self-hosted solutions and SaaS.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

it's likely down because of the Cloudflare issues. A lot of SaaS solutions will have similar dependencies but you could self host something like uptime kuma - that'd probably be best bet to avoid situations like this.
mine even 100% on all services but i cannot access the status page, its CF problem
I use uptime kuma+ beszel it works
Uptime kuma or https://github.com/lukastautz/ltstats
I started uptime kuma. What is the minimum interval you recommend so that I don't get abuse from pinging the website too often?
It doesn't have all Hetrixtools features but both Beszel and LTstats selfhosting works nicely. Beszel has easier notification setup like through Discord webhook while LTstats has nice monitoring website.
Instatus & RobotAlp
phare.io
Fivenines.io -> Server monitoring
and betteruptime for website monitoring or ping
You can try updown.io for server monitoring - ping / ssh and even SSL!
Uptime Kuma + Beszel. Easy to set up and just werks. Will probably look into LTstats as well.
Thank you for sharing!
If you're interested by a servers monitoring service with an uptime of 100% in the last year, you can indeed consider fivenines.io send an email to [email protected] with a "100% UPTIME" as subject and I will offer you 6 months (this is BF before BF)

Also, I definitely recommend updown.io for web monitoring, cheap and extremely reliable.
I haven’t had any issues with them only today due to cloudflare issues.
How did you handle the Cloudflare outage?
Self-hosted solutions:
sweetuptime.dicloud.net looks nice
Did he say "100% uptime before yesterday"?
How so? It's just a fucking sign up page.
Reboot your device or try again later.
It's still a fucking login page. How about you logout and then stop recommending them.
why?
Edit: never mind. My bad, probably.
Checkmate. 0$.

I use gatus. I love gatus. Gatus supports external auth and yaml based config
