    Yeah, I kind of slacked today since this thread was fairly quiet. I was also was focused on DartNode because I really wanted to pickup one of their 99/year dedis and I managed to get it! There's still plenty of time until the end but that also means there's plenty of time for me to lose momentum!

    I was also played a little with my BF treats today as well. Do think tomorrow I'll begin setting those up.

    Got any plans for the flash sale VPSes yet?

    Yeah, turn one into a game server since we don't have a Los Angles location yet and I'm going to migrate some things (like the lounge irc client among other things) that's scattered across a few small VPSes to the other one.

    Have you tried contacting support? I am not sure if a VPS, not a dedi will have virtualisation enabled.

    Hehe, for flash sales this year, my goal was to get stuff where I can combine some VPSes and save $ in the long run. Well, at least the things where the location doesn't really matter much. Unlike the gaming servers, those do need to be scattered since everyone is spread out. So the different locations can provide a more equal ping between the players. I didn't plan on getting one for gaming this year, was totally an "in the moment" thing since the deal was too good and I actually got it! :lol:

    I always have to keep reminding myself that I don't need every deal with these BF sales. If I didn't, I'd probably be broke :lol:

    I believe I have great self-control there. But, this time, I almost lost it. I had to close my eyes to not keep seeing the price on every flash sale and took me a lot of convincing myself that I don't have a project for the VPS. :lol:

    I distinctly remember this one, let me tell you why. There were to be 10 winners or so in the prize pool. But, raindog accidentally set the winner count to 15. So, when the results were announced, there were 10 prize items to be distributed and 15 winners.
    And, as my luck would have it, I was 11th. But, Dustin still went ahead and gave the 11th-15th position holders sweaters or RackNerd credits.

    So true. Infact, last year I had close to 70 entries in total, cause I did every bonus entry from the starting to ending (not even a day missed) plus also got the social entries as well.
