Are the annual deals recurring? The admin interface shows the recurring amount as the deal price.

When the coupon is applied, it says if it's recurring or not. the 65% for example says it's recurring and @rarecloud also confirmed it on page 4.

  • Anyone having multiple locations with Rarecloud that can give me a quick TL;DR on the network quality and stability? I got myself a Bucharest server earlier today and I might want another one in Dusseldorf and Timisoara.

Yes, they are.. You need just to complete the hostname on the first stop of the order process, then in the 2nd step you'll see the real price after discount, and you'll also see the recurring price ... If the discount is recurring, it's written there, if it's one time coupon, it's also written there. Please check here:

Timisoara it's a very good location, having good connectivity with international players, like Orange and others.

Dusseldorf is our Star, everybody is satisfied, but I want to tell you, that if you'll order in Dusseldorf, next week your VPS will be migrated to Frankfurt, in a new datacenter, on brand new sealed servers, with AMD Epyc Genoa CPUs instead of Ryzen 5-7.
We have some issues with the current datacenter, also we found the best option to bring our own new servers on a different datacenter.

We already had 2 today, but thinking that it's BF, I will check with my colleagues and maybe we can add a new one today. I'll get back to you!

Payment for this order has been completed, but the status still shows as "Pending", and the VPS service has not been activated. Please resolve this issue promptly.

I just checked and your service has been already activated!

You are on the same node. This means that your benchmark software is not good, at least on CPU check. Can you ask your friend to share with you and try the same script?

not the issue of scripts, I just only use the "wget -O/dev/null https://speed.jp.m247.ro/1000mb.bin"

I was talking about the benchmark bash script used to identify the CPUs.
You are using different software, it's obvious because you do not see the CPU model, neither the CPU BIOS settings, and the other script sees them.

Can you please check again now? I need to confirm if it was a filtering issue.

much better now, what's the issue caused this? :o

As I mentioned earlier, Virtualizor relies on ebtables for bandwidth filtering, network limits, IP theft protection, and so on.
The problem is that on newer Linux OS versions (including AlmaLinux 9 and Ubuntu 24) running on the host nodes, ebtables causes very high load and abnormal network usage.

This happens because these newer OS versions have fully switched to nftables, but Virtualizor is still using ebtables for its filtering layer.
So we end up with a modern OS and modern hardware being slowed down by an old network filtering component.

On our older nodes, using older OS versions, everything works perfectly. But on the new nodes, the ebtables layer is basically choking the system.

Is it better than Bucharest overall? In terms of uptime and network quality/stability.

but we are using the same scripts (YABS),
his result show the correct CPU hardware model and the "AES-NI" and "VM-x/AMD-V" are enabled,
but mine show the virtual cpu model and the "AES-NI" and "VM-x/AMD-V" are disabled :(

any suggestion on how to resolve it? thanks.

What OS have you installed on the VM?

I'm not sure what you're doing, but it's not normal. Check all the benchmarks on this post and you'll see that the CPU model and "options" are visible.
