    Important info

Please do consider your purchases before making a order, and please don't order all available services just to test out each package.

This not only tests the goodwill of our refund policy but it also puts a unneeded burden of processing these refunds and of course the significant fee it incurs for us.

It may be the last Black Friday that we'll offer refunds on these packages.

  • @labze said: please don't order all available services just to test

Sigh. This is why we can't have good things in life.

Sympathies and respect for all the backend work you have to put up with in order for the rest of us to get some good deals.

    Thanks!

I'm really impressed by xCloud. It is the slickest panel I have used by far. I have even tried Cloudways Autonomous, and xCloud outperformed that, with Hostbrr and Advin Servers. They both offer NGINX and OLS. If you want to provide Webmail (Roundcube), go with Enhance - I use it with Mailbaby relay, and I rarely exceed their $1/1/month for transactional mail. I love Enhance; their API is fantastic, and as one of my many side projects, I'm building a multi-server WaaS, so their licensing is fantastic - you pay for the number of websites rather than the number of servers.

If price is an issue, it's worth noting that the current LTD with xCloud starting at £399 is equivalent to 40 months of Enhance licensing.
    Hope this helps @COLBYLICIOUS

Yes, tomorrow or sometime hereafter. Just a backlog of orders and tickets that needs to be handled before I unleash next wave.

What about getting just 5$ licence? I'll get only one server, I don't think I need another ones.

I'm so frustrated that I canceled the $5 Enhance plan, and then it went up to $10. Even though it's worth the monthly fee, I don't have that much budget for personal websites.

  • @labze can you quote me a special? 8 GB RAM 6x vCPU Cores 2.4TB storage (can be HDD or SSD). Location US please (US/East Coast preferred but not essential). TIA!

  • Just bought another but dammit if I can snag a Turin I will sell off the other. I guess the restock will be surprise/unannounced/flash or can you give an ETA @labze

    TIA

They were available all year and the last discount code was valid for several months so I think your odds are high :)

In other words, restock will take place when you will be unavailable and it will be gone in seconds.

    • Yeah I saw that @COLBYLICIOUS . I'm still on the $6 (after tax) plan. Whilst the $0.15 cost per website hasn't changed. I have never exceeded the 33 websites I needed to have to pay more than the $6 - add-on domains/subdomains don't count towards websites used. Now you need to have 66 websites before you pay more than the $12.

  • Are there any differences in specs between the Germanny and USA storage boxes?
also, can we upgrade for more storage in the future at the same promo pricing?

Yes. USA runs on older hardware. The usage rarely exceeds 5-10% so I guess no one needs it anyway.

Both run similar RAID-arrays and have 10 Gbps connectivity.

You can upgrade later while keeping the promo price as long as you are on a 1 TB or higher package.

I planned to take it, waiting some flash for US, like $40-45/4tb. 😅

  • i looking at storage boxes to setup my own s3 object storage.
is there looking glass for Germany and US?

  • @labze said: It may be the last Black Friday that we'll offer refunds on these packages.

providers should actually give refund as "account credit" (and not to the bank/pp) so those abusers will stop abusing just to test different services once their money gets locked-in.

  • any looking glass for storage plans?

  • @labze In Germany, are the Storage Boxes and HDD Block Storage (Epyc Turin) on the same RAID array? Thanks.

  • Hello,
Thank you for these very nice offers ! Very appreciated

I did order a 4Tb storage box, which got activated an hour later. I can access it, and I also have installed Nextcloud via the softaculous panel and linked a subdomain I own with it. All good !

But I have a question regarding the disk usage.
When I go to the System Information section of the management interface, I see the following :

Device Type Size Used Reserved Available Mounted on
    /dev/md0 ext4 3.44 TB 598.46 GB 178.79 GB 2.68 TB /

    2 things here :

    • Why is the size 3.44 Tb and not 4 Tb ?
    • Why do I have already about 600 Gb used and 200 Gb reserved? The nextcloud installation I performed and the upload of some test files takes only about 10Gb, as seen in the Site Summary / Statistics / Logs section.

    Thank you !

That's not your storage partition, look at where your home directory is ;)
If you want to see your usage check quota.
