  • Threadripper vps doesn't have ddos protection?

  • @tux said: Do EU people have to pay VAT?

I have no VAT on invoices (France).

    It does

  • @labze said: It is not "just" the same awesome offer as last year. We've recently upgraded our DirectAdmin Storageboxes in Germany to even better hardware, now using a more modern AMD EPYC CPU, larger and faster RAID-60 for increased performance and fault tolerance.

Just a question, are the storage boxes in the US the same specs as in Germany?

  • @labze please have a look at ticket #5688728

  • Any hopes of getting more stock for EPYC Turin or the AMD Threadripper - 3 GB deals? Been refreshing for a couple hours already :(

  • Does anyone have any "yabs" type figures for the Germany and USA DirectAdmin Storage Boxes?

I am not sure which will be the best for me so having some figures for network speeds would be great. I appreciated things may be a bit busier than usual it is mainly just to compare either a Germany based server or a USA based server.

Should be anytime now :S I'm on S and I was moved almost a month ago. Labze seems to have a fuckload of work at the moment which is understandable.
Also situated in EU == need sleep unless insomniac like me.

Have you tried logging in using the new address (ftpde1) provided in the original email?

My user also started with "s" and I was transferred over a few weeks ago.

The account on ftp2 locks when the migration starts and stays locked so that shouldn't be it.
No harm in trying though ofc.

iperf3 is not available on Storage Boxes. There is a static build on GitHub https://github.com/userdocs/iperf3-static.

I can run it for you from Germany to one or two YABS destinations near your area, tell me which ones.

  • @zejjnt said: Horrible speed for me to the FQDN you used but between ftpde1 and my OVZ VPS at Ethernetservers it's smooth sailing

I ran the iperf3 test from ftpde1.hostypanel.com (new server) to the Clouvider London server FQDN found in YABS source code, and around 2 GBits/s seems pretty good to me.

  • Hi @labze, was waiting for this and tried for a long time to enter the site for the storage deal but the site didn't load. And now I get the "Package limits have been reached for all packages in the selected group". Will a restock be coming?
