  • Hello,I would like to double the bandwidth.
    Order Number: 19336894
    Thanks!

  • Well, I might have to force my doggo to go out like 30 minutes before chef will be here so she won't interupt things. Unless she's sleeping, if she's sleeping, I can't wake her up. It's too cute and being woken up is rude

So, what have you guys decided? Will she be joining the party or are you going to put her to sleep?

I haven't decided anything yet but honestly, she will probably be napping. She got a little human food tonight, we played for a while this afternoon, and we went on a long walk earlier since it felt warmed. It was still below freezing but wasn't that bad... So she's a bit tired. Honestly think she won't ask to go out until like 2hrs Chefs appears. If I miss something because of the dog, so be it! Doggo is more important :)

Absolutely. Doggo is the priority, any day. I will be back as well. Couldn't sleep properly last night. Will have to catch some of that lost sleep after the chef's festivities are done for the day.

Depends on how you take it "thou"!
It is used for both gently helping a baby sleep or forcing them to sleep with medicines.
Me and @PuDLeZ being dog parents do understand that I meant the former. Isn't that right, Pud? If not, pardon me. I meant the former.

BTW, "thou" is the archaic form of "you." Maybe add those missing "gh"

  • Today's gonna be fun with intense activity on both the Chef's own RackNerd BF thread and the brand new BF megathread.

Yeah - "putting {your dog} to sleep" is a phrase that means euthanizing, often done when an animal is already at the end of their life.

    Got this from Google -

"Putting her to sleep" can mean several things, including helping a baby or child go to bed, euthanizing a sick animal, or inducing a temporary unconscious state for medical procedures. To help a child sleep, create a routine with a bedtime story, physical touch, and calming activities.

I seriously didn't know about the euthanisation part. My bad! But, I meant it in a positive way. BTW, what would be the perfect replacement for what I mean - to gently get her to sleep?

This was all in fun.
Just giving you an English lesson when you gave me one, that's all, pulling each other's legs and nothing more.
But, defo, thanks for that. I didn't know that phrase had such a bad connotation as well, attached to it. Will have to find a better replacement phrase for that activity, something with no hidden negative connotations.
