    Hey bud, I am really sorry. Been a very busy day. My PC is acting up. Was checking everything was perfect for Chef's arrival tomorrow. And, my PC decided to be well, my PC.

    Oh what happened?

    Borrowed a friend's 16GB x2 sticks (3000Mhz) to add to my PC (currently 16GB x 2 3200MHz). Turns out they don't wanna jel together well. One is ADATA XPG and the other Corsair Vengeance.
    Was trying to get both to work at 3000MHz. Right now, they do. But, my PC has another issue, has had for months. The BIOS resets once you pull the plug from the wall. Changed CMOS battery, no luck. All in all, I am in a pickle.

    i only turn off mine when it asks for updates. and that is only restart..

    Actually 7pm pat is 3am for me. I'll sleep like a baby. My 5th shift in a row, and tomorrow the 6th.

    I guess, from now on, I will have to resort to that as well, esp. given I am unable to directly enter BIOS most of the time. I have boot it first to Ubuntu at which point it's running at 2133MHz and then I have to reboot and use the Ubuntu Boot Menu (pressing shift contincuously) to access the UEFI Firmware Settings, enable XMP and reboot everytime to get 3000MHz.

    I did forget. I had made a mental note in the morning to get my daily bonus but, I still had to wait for 5 hours for it to refresh, unfortunately, with everything going on with my PC, it had skipped my mind.

    It definitely is Spain with the S silent. But, I have no other options for now. With only the 3200Mhz sticks, I could get into BIOS directly, but, then I miss out on 32GB extra RAM!

    Finally, atleast now, the AI training process that was OOMEing on just 32GB RAM is running now, painfully slow though.

    i wonder what's in my desk mat.. cats keep licking 1 special spot. mat is weird too with absorption. if i spill some water, it stays for a few seconds, like it's penetrating the mat, than absorbs in 1-2 seconds
