My SYD service doesn't like custom ISOs at all, won't boot after install :(

    Included images are working 100%.

Can you even add custom iso? I thought it wasnt allowed

I remember it not being allowed prior to the move to virtfusion, however it's available there in the control panel under Media -> CD/DVD-ROM

Hmm. I still cannot add any there. Simply the ones which are added by greencloud

I'm finding when I boot from custom iso the install process is really slow (not sure if it caches the .iso somewhere or is somehow streaming on demand), and with the VNC connection dropping in and out, sometimes eventually failing to boot. If I do manage to get an iso to boot then often the VM will stop abruptly and/or not boot from HD after install. A re-image fixes this.

I've tried UEFI mode (instead of the default BIOS) with auto config disabled (both in Virtfusion), didn't seem to affect anything.

I tried Proxmox 8 and 9 ISOs, going to continue testing with Debian ISOs and see if I can get it to boot.

If installing from Custom ISOs is not supported by GC, happy to use their images - but thought I'd try anyway :)

Finally got iso's to work - opened a ticket and support suggested copying the isos to onedrive or google drive and booting them from there. I used another file share, and then changed the VM to UEFI and the machine installed from the .iso (and booted!) without the lag I was experiencing before!
