Mini PC / SBC Colohost Request.

Strange one, at least for me, I only recently got into SBC's and have quickly been project hunting for a use-case.

I've found it, but now i'm struggling to find hosts, as with any good project it needs reliable, hosting with a stable connection my home doesn't quiet cut the cake, nor does it satisfy my multiple locations hope.

I need to know where to find, or if any DC's on here offer reasonably priced hosting, in specific the Radxa 5A

ROCK 5A Power Requirements

Input: 5V–20V via USB-C PD (Power Delivery)

Recommended: PD 9V/2A or PD 12V/2A

Minimum reliable: 9V/2A (≈18W)

I'm hoping for offers with a 1GBPS port, lot of the offers i find are limited to 100mbps, while the speed may be fine, it's often a drawback in particular for it's speedy connection and burst capacity.

1 IPV4 only required, ability to purchase more would be fantastic.

UNM is preferred, but reasonable BW allowance is totally okay.

    Thanks @ordinanceb !

Yes we micro and mini colo, we'd colo it but you'd have to send your power adapter with it and it would have to come in a case.

Are there any specific requirements on the case? e.g metal, plastic? Radxa themselves offer a case, I assume that is sufficient?

Just that it covers everything so the board can't touch anything metal outside itself.

I've allocated a fair budget in mind for a monthly expense, plan to get as many locations in that as I can. (Goal is to make money afterall)

Only location I have secured so far is the UK, absolutely in need of US locations, JFreak i'll be going with absolutely, but not against a texas location

Do you know the cost of hosting a SBC such as the one I mentioned?

  • Texas would be great for network connectivity to the rest of US.
