Just replaced the display (for the third time now) of my 10 year old Firefox OS phone for $15. With the new battery I put in a few months ago, I am sure it will be fine for at least another 5 years.
Also replaced the heart rate sensor of my 6 year old Galaxy watch for $3 (and another $2 for the glass lens) - it also got a new battery ($10) a few months ago. Expecting to use it for at least another 5 years.
