    Yeah, the snow/cold with the wind blowing stuff people left out (it's kind of strong gusts) weirded her out so she didn't want to do her full business on our normal bedtime walk. She just whined at me to go back out, liked I didn't tell her she needed to do her business previously... Of course, once we got out, she wanted to go back in right away again but I forced to stay out until she does her business. I always hate "pulling" her (not really pulling but forcing her not to turn back) but she's like other drivers out here: takes her a bit to remember what to do in these conditions.

    That sounds quite a bit of fun and a scare. Driving around is gonna be a bit tough, but, the kids there and maybe some adults would definitely enjoy it. And, I guess your pup enjoys the snow as well.

    It's always scarey the first snow of the season as people seem to always forget how to drive. They forget they need more time to slow down or take corners slower and so on. Honestly, it takes a few "bad" days before they remember...

    Hadn't thought about that though. You are right, once you become an expert driver, driving is mostly based on muscle memory. But, that memory doesn't actually quickly adapt to the changing weather conditions. You got the snow problem, we got monsoon-related issues (aquaplaning and stuff) - Did discuss with bchot as well. He was saying there wasn't much snow yet in CHicago this year.

    Honestly, I think I remember because I grew up in a smaller town where they only plowed some main roads and threw down a little dirt before intersections. Out here in the Minneapolis metro, they salt the roads pretty heavily so it's basically like a damp road unless it just stormed.

    Also, growing up, I would drive off road all the time, even frozen lakes/streams so I learned how to drive in many different conditions.

    No problem. Like a I said, you can usually find the interstate cameras with a simple google search. Cities usually have more cameras but they're not from the state's DOT so those aren't always available

    LOL! That's funny. These guys can make you smile no matter how stressed you are. They are the best therapy there is, imo.
