@dustinc Thanks for your review on the Snapdragon laptops and specifically your comment on niche apps. Infact, I was worried about just that and thanks for clarifying that.
It's just that some SD laptops are selling for way cheaper prices in India rn when compared to the Intel and AMD NPUs. I guess they don't have many takers since most people who want NPU powered laptops need compatibility with niche apps.
Anyways, they do have the benefit of being lightweight though which makes them good enough for general use.

FYI: I have yet to find an app that doesn't work with the JIT x86/x64 emulation unless it requires hardware that requires a driver. Drivers won't work with the emulation and that's where you really need to lookup compatibility. At least that's been my experience with the Windows Dev Kit 2023 (Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3).
I haven't tried gaming on it though as it's not really made for that...
