got me a Logitech mechanical keyboard half price for BF.. it's soo loud. and kinda will take me a moment to get used to it, keep hitting wrong keys, since all i've used in last few years were flat ones like laptops have.. but is pretty cool, and i'm already seeing the appeal.. i used to have 1 by Corsair, but I would only break it out for gaming, did Startcraft back then religiously.. and programmed it quite nicely, it would select all plants that produced units and load up queues for production with 1 click only.

Nice score on the Logitech mechanical! Half off is legit, especially for a quality board. Totally feel you on the adjustment period though - going from laptop-style keys to mechanical is like switching from a scooter to a manual transmission car. The loudness probably means you've got clicky switches (the Blue-style ones), which are awesome for that satisfying typing feel but yeah... not exactly stealthy for late-night sessions 😄

The wrong key thing is super common at first - your fingers just need time to learn the new key spacing and actuation force. Give it a week or two and you'll be flying across those keys without thinking. The gaming benefits are real though, especially coming from someone who played StarCraft seriously! That macro setup you had on your Corsair sounds killer. If this Logitech has programmable keys too (most do), you could probably recreate some of those sweet one-touch production commands.

What switches did you end up getting? And any plans to dive into the programming features like you did with your old Corsair? Mechanical keyboards can become quite the rabbit hole once you get into it!

i'm not really gaming competitively these days, but i do appreciate the opportunity. and it can be programmed via the G HUB -- JIHAD, LOL.. it's standard G413 fully aluminium, has Logitech proprietary Romer-G switches that are smooth and supposedly not as clicky, but the clickety clack is there for sure.

Always need some time to adapt to a new keyboard situation. I'm looking to get a new laptop this black friday.

Not working at the office much. Been using a Chromebook on the road and from home but need something more powerful for some design stuff. Have a MacBook lying around but really don't like apple...

second that apple dislike. all i've ever owned from apple was iphone X, and only because wanted to see how some sites looked on it. i still have it, i think.. people in USA are too crazed about apple products.

    i do like AppleTV+ sci-fi shows -- the best

Dunno about AppleTV supposed to be good if I can trust my business partner. He's an apple fan , got me the Mac. Too posh for me.

I only watch Netflix, some news shows and nature videos.

I stuck with an android phones from the get go, eversince I got a HTC dream which worked amazingly well with gsuite I was hooked.

ah, Europe.. i do Galaxy all day long.. did have HTC like 15 years ago, one of the firsts, but then went on with Galaxy.
