    sure thing. i did like free transport back as a teen.. imagine they probably fired 1000s of conductors/ticket checkers that used to go in or just be in the bus/tram/trolley and check tickets.. i remember sometimes you were supposed to do it yourself - buy tickets as a booklet, stamp them inside the bus, etc.. sometimes controllers would jump in on some stop, and half the bus would leave on the next stop.. LOL..

    Everything is digital now, so without a card/ticket you're not allowed to enter the bus (or you can buy a ticket at the driver)

    Busses are that way here but we have a light rail (electric train) that goes to some parts of the mtro and it's not really enforced or checked except for football (american football) days/times.

    GROUPON has a very good strategy.. until now all deals said "in time for MOM" which was mother's day back in May.. now they replaced that with "Black Friday". not a single new deal, not a single lowered price tag... i get it, they already sell it cheap.. i only use it to get day passes to my favorite bath house, turns out like 50% cheaper than door price.
