Looking for EU S3 style object storage (100–200 GB) - billed by stored size
Hey everyone,
I need S3 compatible object storage for a Pterodactyl panel (dev servers and backups). Prefer something in the EU that charges based on how much I actually store, not how much data I transfer or write over time.
What I tried:
- Contabo worked fine but seems to bill based on usage activity rather than just stored bytes.
- iDrive E2 had a similar experience for me.
What I need:
- Around 100–200 GB (I’ll probably use around 80 GB).
- Reliable and simple billing charged per GB stored.
- Preferably located in the EU.
If you’ve used something like this in Europe (or know of providers that bill purely by stored size), please share your recommendations and experience. Thanks! 🙏

@AlexPads
Hey!
If you are able to wait until Black Friday we may have something for you
We charge a flat-rate for an "Account Storage" such as $1 for 250GB this never changes unless you need more storage and upgrade your plan!
Best,
Enzonix LLC
Will it be a stable offering or will it disappear again after a short time, as has already happened with the S3 service in Germany?
Hello,
We have been working to make sure this never happens in the future. Our new system is not built on top of flaky open source software or paid garbage like before. We have been working behind the scenes for months building our own system ourselves. Our own code, controllers and features to make sure we can offer what we want to offer without issues and without having to shut things down.
Best,
Did you know that Backblaze B2 has an EU region?
For 200 GB, they charge like $1.20 a month, which includes 3x egress, free ingress, a generous free tier, and negligible API fees.
If you do the Cloudflare juggling, egress charges will not count toward the quota. (They peer directly and pass the savings on to customers.)
I have not used them much, but they seem decent; also, I do not receive any commission for recommending this to you.
Do they have minimum charge per month? I checked their pricing page is $6/tb.
I don't think so; that page use to reads: 0.004 / GB, before they add free egress.
And my free tier account is still working to this day.
Sounds good,
Is there a way for me to know when this happens? Or are you able to contact me later about this?
The new product is releasing on Black Friday. The price I gave you for $1 for 250GB is a base price
