    You can be for sure

If I keep going like this, yeah!

Yes, the competition might pick up at any time though. Keep the pace up and you will be fine

Gotta talk some more in the next few days!

  • Giveaway when?

  • Anyone using BunnyCDN for their sites?

can i install windows on 1 GB KVM VPS – $10.60 per YEAR!?

RackNerd does allow using custom ISO. You could try to maybe run a light version of Windows like Windows10 Lite, but, even then, with GUI, you would find it very hard on 1GB RAM.

How can I install from custom ISO?

Start a support ticket on RackNerd dashboard with the link to the ISO. Ask for it to be added to your VPS. It should then show up on the Drive menu on your control panel. Start the VPS with the browser based VNC on the browser through your RN control panel. Boot from the ISO, install. Profit!

    @noob404 I got this reply.
Unfortunately we cannot mount any Windows ISO or allow a customer to license their own Windows installation, as this would violate our agreements with Microsoft SPLA.

Oh pardon me then. BTW, were you looking to run Windows for a specific reason?

morning ritual completed, now it's off to the races.. later-later..

Feeding the cats and I am guessing setting up the new Alienware monitor?

monitor been setup last night, amazing tool.. 180Hz but will have to play some games to really judge.

Oh. That's cool. So, currently, it's a dual monitor setup?
If that's the case do you have the option to add another monitor? If yes, how is it decided which GPU it will be plugged into?

last time you asked, i said it was 2 cards with 2 monitors each. i can add 4 more, as there are 4 empty inputs still, 2 remaining per card from the 4 each originally. i have 1070 and super 2060.

Yah, I distinctly remember you saying currently you had one monitor each plugged into each gpu. Hence, I got curious and thus wanted to know how it'd be decided which ports additional monitors would be plugged into.

no CDN for me.. most of my sites are 3-4 pagers with few images, just site logos mostly. 1 large site i have that has 1000s of pics and a 6GB MySQL dump, - i prefer keeping images on the server, as it allows for the bestest arrangement on the page knowing the image sizes. having images elsewhere means to get the size, i'd have to scan it elsewhere, which sometimes may take much extra time.. like galleries, you know? where images are all differently sized but lined up nicely to fill all the area (different numbers of them resized to fit "lines" that fit the screen fully).. and stuff like that. i even there check when people add images to posts and records from outside and automatically download them and store on server.. like 20k images so far..

too few? too many? it's mostly photos of DJs, musicians, downsized avatars, event flyers, etc.. also can't trust users to actually include normal sized images and avatars and promo materials, so got scripts that downsize those images when download them for local storage..

Dude, read again. In that comment, I only asked you what your current setup was, smh
Only now I was thinking about the situation about what happens if you win the Alienware monitor, which we joked about recently. So, that brought me to the question about on which GPU you will plug another monitor into.
Are you able to now make/understand the distinction between the two questions? This was a followup to the original question, not a repetition of it.
As for the comment numbers, none of us are saints. We are all doing it for the numbers. You have insinuated this earlier as well that I don't read comments. But, I really do, if I don't, I specifically mention, for example, that long comment, which I said I didn't read cause it was long. But, you did give me a tldr version.
I understand where your disappointment is coming from, me doing 400 comments in a day. I understand your frustration given the gap in our comments, but, I did say the competition is gonna be brutal and I am highly competitive.

Let's just have some fun. And, if you don't want me asking questions, please just lmk, instead of pointing fingers. I will stop.

no worries. you asked about plugging them in, i said 2 cards, 2 monitors each. so then now you asked if it's a dual monitor setup - no, it's 4, which i said before..

and it is decided by checking how much viewable area is now served by each card, how much memory each card has, and if they have reserves. although in today's day and age, it doesn't really matter anymore, since Windows now can extend video RAM with normal RAM.. it mattered before though.

Alright. Thank you for clarifying, and thanks for bearing with me. I have never had a multi-monitor setup in my life. So, I was just curious nothing else. It's gonna take me atleast a decade or more to actually invest in a multi-monitor setup, given everything going on IRL. It feels like the kid in me still lives. So, when I see people with stuff I might not never have, I get curious and ask too many questions. On this thread, it helps my comment count as well

But, yes, I was genuinely curious as to how you decide which GPU you plugged into, and if plugging into the 10 series card while there were ports available on the 20 series card would hurt performance.

BTW, you don't have to answer that. I was just explaining where my curiosity arose from. Anwyays, if I can ever get a multi-monitor setup, I will just have fun testing everything out and learn in the process.
