SucuraGuard Remote DDoS Protection – From $65/mo (AS398999)
SucuraGuard Remote DDoS Protection – AS398999
Straightforward remote DDoS protection for networks that need reliable L3/L4 filtering without enterprise-level pricing. Traffic is scrubbed through our network and returned to you over GRE tunnels.
What we're good for: Common flood attacks (SYN, UDP, ICMP, reflection/amplification). Small to medium volumetric attacks.
What we're not (yet): A solution for 500Gbps+ sustained attacks or complex application-layer threats. We're the middle ground for networks that need consistent protection without breaking the bank. Our capacity and capabilities are growing over time.

How It Works
Without BGP (GRE only):
1. We provide you a /29 or /28 subnet from our IP space
2. You configure GRE tunnel to our scrubbing endpoints
3. All traffic to those IPs is automatically filtered 24/7
4. Clean traffic delivered back to your origin via GRE
With BGP add-on:
1. You announce your prefix(es) to AS398999
2. Either always-on (we accept all announcements) or on-demand (announce during attack)
3. GRE tunnel configured for return traffic
4. You control traffic flow via BGP communities (prepend, blackhole, etc.)
What's Included
✓ L3/L4 DDoS mitigation (SYN/ACK, UDP, ICMP, fragmentation, protocol attacks)

Who This Is For
✓ Small to mid-size hosting providers
✓ Game server operators (Minecraft, FiveM, Rust, etc.)
✓ VPS/VDS providers needing edge protection

Comments
For my curiosity, do you have a plan B if your entire address space gets targeted by a large attack, like what happened to Neoprotect?
The big difference is that they don't want customers who receive attacks exceeding 500 Gbit. They will probably block the customer if they are attacked.
No IPv6 hall of shame
Include IPv6 for no extra cost on every plan in every location to get delisted.
@Calin
This is what I like to see.
So many providers like to flex and probably 10X their actual capability for marketing purposes.
Great to see as well. None of this, "Lets schedule a phone call" or "Lets talk on Discord" or "Lets send a bunch of emails back and forth" BS everyone else wants.
Good luck with everything.
FYI - listed IPs are wrong. Looking at BGP, I think it's a typo, you mean 142.248, not 142.238.
Update: We've now launched BGP-ready VMs in New York & Ashburn!
All VMs include FREE SucuraGuard DDoS protection (no extra charge).
Test IPs:
- New York:
142.248.30.40- Ashburn:
142.248.30.50Perfect if you need compute + protection in one package.
Order: https://services.sucura.ca/store/
Info: https://sucuranetworks.ca/vms.html
Note: Correcting typo in original post - test IPs are
142.248.30.xnot142.238.30.x. Thanks @qps for catching that!
