I was also flagged as fraudulent when I placed my order back then, but after submitting a support ticket to communicate with them, they resolved the issue promptly. Moreover, the promotional servers for the campaign at that time were already sold out, yet they even provisioned an extra one for me. I don’t know exactly how you communicated with GorillaServers, but I think their servers are really excellent!

Well, I'm sorry but I'm on your opposite.

I used to be a lover of Amazon photos, and delete my local ones after uploading. After my free space ran out i decided to buy a paid one. However after linking my card they told me that 'Your account is closed and this decision is permanent. Don't try to reply because we won't respond.' All data lost.
And the same for Digital Ocean. A few days after opening my account the same mentioned above happened. No KYC review allowed, no future response and no data given-back.

While you might consider the suspensions above only subject to so-called suspicious users, they're actually for you yourself, even if already being using their services for a while.

Hello, I have no need to commit fraud, nor would I ever commit fraud, so there is no need for me to gain such experience.

And as fellow human beings, if they can get annoyed by my urging, shouldn’t I be allowed to feel annoyed by their delay in return?

you just don't know how to do business with people out of China, you know part of it, but still a lot of things you don't know

maybe you are too young, that's ok, just learn it

  • Chinese = automatically linked to fraud, well done gorilla team

btw how can a person in China have a company in the UK?

By registering the company, exactly the same as anyone else. Apart from residents of sanctioned countries, the UK has no restrictions on who can be a director or shareholder of a company.

Things are being tightened up now though to ensure that directors and PSC (people/companies that own more than 25% of a company) have gone through identity verification (including passports for non-residents), because the situation has been abused in the past by people creating a company, and operating for a year and then closing the company before the accounts and taxes are due, pretending to have carried out no trades at all.

  • So, summary of the thread:

    • Customer asks for a BGP announcement, which is always an additional process and usually manual
    • Customer gets angsty when it's not completed within 2 days
    • Customer asks for it to be done immediately or else get a refund
    • Provider immediately gives a refund without creating any more drama
    • Customer gets upset and cries about it to the internet
    • Provider also points out the fraud flags and suspicious activity, registering with multiple different details, VPN, etc.
    • Customer still thinks it's all the provider's fault
    Thanked by 1zed
  • ... and bananas?
