Hehe, if I do end up getting 3rd or 4th place, I'm totally going to ask if US folks can just get the equivalent RN credit to their account like international folks. I don't have a need for the scooter or airpods and would prefer a credit instead. All the other prizes are cool though! Even the stuff in the main drawing!

Yeah, I let hosting and a few VPSes go over the years. Doesn't sound like much but it's not too often I'm fast enough (rather, lucky with refreshing) to win. Though I did win a coffee mug this year (so far) and I've very much keeping that (already got the DM from dustin about it).

i would never buy myself prizes for places 2 to 4, so i wouldn't mind getting them. on the opposite, credit for me may not be that valuable, i dont really need US-based servers, and seems EU are constantly lacking and backordered.
that may be quite tiresome and annoying.. is it a party-like event or you gotta watch over some project reveal?

If I'm being honest though, with the comments going to the 21st, like previous years, I kind of get tired out with posting after the whole BF/CM hype. It doesn't stop completely but it's just way less. I basically always start strong and end weak.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy myself #1 (would buy parts for a custom build) and for #2, I already have a steam deck. So it would be cool if I won those, I would totally take them. For 3 & 4, I have no need/want so that's why I would prefer the credit instead. 5 is credit and 6th is a VPS which I could find use for, which would vary depending on the locations available.
to be honest, e-scooter is not something i am interested in either... oh well.. we'll see..

can concur there... actually i do not have apple products so airpods are not something i want.. but funny fact, a friend of mine has hearing issues, he was able to get his heath insurance to rebate him for the purchase of airpods 3, because they are classified as acceptable hearing aid by the FDA... even airpods 2 pro as well..
but yeah, honestly not expecting to win from the comments. Either me getting "burnt out" or others being way more motivated will kick me out of a winning position. I never liked Apple's ear buds or airpods. I do have the pixel earbuds if I need them on the go but I much prefer over the ear headphones. Just way more comfortable and sound way better.
as a matter of fact, it seems a way easier task than getting engagement prize.. i bet people will have bots doing something.. so givers will need to make up convoluted tasks that bots and even AI bots won't be able to figure out so easily and snag the prize in milliseconds..
