  • KS-LE-1 SSD in stock at BHS.

  • I am looking for a 2 x 2TB SSD baguette or better in BHS in exchange for a lotto KS-MYSTERY and KS-LE-A (2024) in OVH CA account.

PM me if anybody plans to let go their 2 x 2TB SSD lotto or better servers. If the deal is too good, i can consider paying over and above or adding one more spare KS-LE-1 (2025) or pay extra

Is there any api call which can show what is the service name associated to that order once its fulfilled?

In the invoice you receive by email 5-ish minutes after the server is delivered, you have the order number and the service name.

Ahh okay. One way for sure.

I wish there was an api call. Kinda difficult to keep a track of the stupid api orders and whats delivered.

You know, one quick way is don't buy so many

    But
    But
Octave feel bad if we buy not

It sucks americans never get a good black friday deal. we are stuck with OVH US which is garbage.

At $25, I think SYS-LE-1 is a decent price actually if you want the US DC. It's cheaper than other regions. I believe it's the lowest price offering with vRack support. Just too bad you can't do any storage or network upgrades on it.

I like ks stor at $29 for 4x4 hdd+512 ssd.

  • Thank you @misnish. Server received.

  • Slightly off topic, but I lost the link to the excellent tutorial that explained how to setup NAT or port forwarding to guest VMs on proxmox with just having a single IP. Does anyone happen to know which post I'm referring to? Thanks

  • When you get better specs, are they listed in the control panel?

  • @imok said:

    Nope.

Look inside the machine or consult https://ca.api.ovh.com/console/?section=/dedicated/server&branch=v1#get-/dedicated/server/-serviceName-/specifications/hardware or equivalent for your purchasing region. The service name is n1234.blah.net or whatever from the control panel or every email OVH ever sent you about it.

Tried this in BHS and the drives are standard 480GB SSD.

  • Is it possible to change RAID1 to RAID0? I can't find the option

When you install the server you can check a box to chose your own custom partitions. In that case you can change the RAID level of each partition.

Anyone got their hands on KS-LE-E with 480GB * 2 SSD interested to swap with 2TB *4 HDD? Maybe you need the extra storage. Myself I got KS-LE-E due to the 12 threads

    EU location only.

I plan to use the LE-E for backup and storing Linux ISOs but figured out the 2x2 TB in KS-LE-B turns out to be enough.

  • OT: could this be the longest thread so far on LET?

Can you run yabs on ns520464? Interested in the disk speed.

The check for RAID level is disabled :(

I can run a yabs but it won’t show disk speed, I don’t install the servers
