    That's good. But, I am aiming at something with 12GB+ VRAM as well, to try out those text to video models as well maybe. Moreover, as I said earlier, I would really love to stick with an AMD model except for the NVIDIA GPU, to take advantage of Cuda

    AMD Ryzen Threadripper + RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7? Although, I think professional maps are needed here. Oh, and this will cost you a lot...

    Check the Reddit link posted with it. Pretty sure it wasn't a deal, but, a pricing error that happened in the heat of Black Friday Sale and sellers cancelling such orders are rare. So, he might have just gotten lucky.

    Threadripper would be a dream come true. If I had that uunlimited budget, I won't think twice before going for that config.

    funnily the newest of my setup, just 5.5yo.. the 1080p one is probably double that and still great.. this 4k AOC has always been shitty, and now it's gone completely.. i just getting hit.. ee...

    Lol it depends on what you gonna do with your right, my main pc is running with 5700x, rtx 3060ti, 32GB ddr4 3200mt, 550f rog strix, and deepcool 750v2l 80+ gold, 1tb sn850 and around 6tb hdd storage. It's more than enough to handle firefox running with 150+ tabs opened without breaking a sweat.

    Damn! I do understand the hype around this, but, no TV or tech is more valuable than your life.

    tell those people about it.. but truly, imagine, you live your life without TV and your only opportunity to get one (for kids even) - is to bash heads during BF door-buster sprint... first fight your way to the door, then run in, make sure don't fall, send you wife to get some awesome new microwave over or maybe secure a washing machine until you free up and help her, and you run to get that TV.. someone hits you in the back, you don't even pay attention, you only got 1 target - that freaking pallet of TVs in their boxes, viewfinder set only on that... and you make it, and it's not even half of the quest, not have to fight off bigger fuckers trying to take it from you, people are angry, bruised, bloody even... i've never been, but heard and saw a lot..

    Yah, such activities do bring out the wild animal instinct in us, humans. But, wonder what these stores get from such activities. The post sale cleanup and legal claims (injured people suing maybe) should be too much for them to handle. And, most of these have an online presence. Why not just shift to online flash sales instead of making it a spectator sport!

    Yup, definitely, this is much safer. The worst you can do is hurt your keyboard or mouse or maybe other parts of your PC just cause you didn't get the deal. But, the latter is on you, if it happens :lol:

    what would have been the reason? sleep is important.. plus i take melatonin + benadryl-like sleep aid (diphenhydramine hcl) around 1030pm so even if i try to be up, by 1130pm i am sleeping.. those pills help me sleep thru all the noise my wife makes with little care for my comfort or sleep or whatever..
