Yah, it will, I mean, if the discrete GPU is properly set in the BIOS, the integrated GPU on the 8500G won't be used for the most part, I believe. Infact, if you do remember, there was a GPU crunch during COVID. Many people built a PC with these APUs in hopes of adding a GPU in the future, like me (which never happened). And, now, I regret not having a more powerful CPU.

Are you an enthusiast? Maybe get an i5/i7 13-12 series and add a graphics card? That would be a really good combination. Although, I've seen PCs with Xeon and X-Series processors, too.
An enthusiast, yes. But, right now, I regret not getting a more powerful CPU cause I am missing out on many AI models. And, as for Intel, I am not a big fan of Intel builds, especially, being from India where value per cost matters a lot.

If I had a decent budget, I'd go for the Ryzen 9 9950X or maybe a Ryzen 7, if it's too expensive, 128GB DDR5 6400Mhz, 1TB NVME Gen 4, and a 5080 Super or 5070Ti, haven't checked if they exist though. but, not to worry, I don't have that budget or for that matter, any budget

The 7 and 9 series offer a small boost in gaming. But damn, why do you need 128 GB of RAM? DDR5 +/- will give a minor boost, so you can stick with 32 GB of DDR4. That'll save you a lot of money. If you want, I can look at what would be a good combination for maximum performance and a mid-range budget.

As I said, the aim is to try out some AI LLM models and those things are RAM-hungry. So, the major aim is to have enough RAM to maybe run the latest deepseek models maybe not the 671b models, but, lower ones.

Check the Reddit link posted with it. Pretty sure it wasn't a deal, but, a pricing error that happened in the heat of Black Friday Sale and sellers cancelling such orders are rare. So, he might have just gotten lucky.
