  • Well... coming from the depth of OVH's basement bakery I received an unexpected Eclair.

So we have now available for transfer to an EU account, payment via Paypal FF (Fist&F Friends & Family):

    1) KS-LE-C, E5-1630v4, RAM 64GB, 2 X SSD 480 GB in GRA1 for €29.
    (see OP)

    2) KS-LE-E, E5-1650v3, RAM 64GB, 4 X HDD 2TB in RBX2 for €35.
(renews on Dec 21th for €14.99 + tax)

I also received a few european KS-LE-1 with biggus diskus (2x1.92TB SSD) while trying to prove to myself that 26sklet01 was indeed a typo. It was a typo. Or OVH trolling me.

Anyway I think these will have their own thread when I'm eligible because adding one server to this thread already feels like I might be breaking the law.

Yeah, if you start your day with an Almond croissant for breakfast, followed by a Baguette with Cheese for lunch, a Donut for your 4pm snack (some french bakery do Donuts), you're too full when it's dinner time, and an Eclair might just be what you need.

Sounds like a well balanced and healthy diet. Esp. with all the fruit and vegetables mixed in. I'm sure @barbarza as a future doctor would approve.

In all seriousness: you need a chicorée salad with fennel and orange now.

I just finished a crazy 10 week rotation with 16-18 hour days. I would have a donut and redbull for breakfast cos it was just easy to grab. Put on way too much weight 🙈🙈

Don't. Take it as advice from an old guy just ahead of you. Just don't.

Edit: just appreciate life instead ;-)

  • The last KS-LE-C was transferred to @Entire8464 without issue.

This leaves the Eclair if anyone is interested:

    KS-LE-E, E5-1650v3, RAM 64GB, 4 X HDD 2TB in RBX2 for €35.
(renews on Dec 21th for €14.99 + tax)

The Biggus Diskus KS-LE-1 are like below. If anyone missed the opportunity to gamble before they ran out, I have a couple in GRA and RBX. They could go for €20 each.

    KS-LE-1, E3-1231v3, RAM 32GB, 2 X SSD 1.92TB.
(renew on Dec 1st for €15.99 + tax)

Be careful, I think you have forgotten the setup fee that you have paid (those are 2025 KS-LE-1 I assume?).

Hm, looking at eco.ovhcloud.com/fr/ I see setup fees listed for the KS-LE-1. But "renews at Dec 1st" sounds like this are not from the BF sale now but from an earlier KS-LE sale maybe?

These are from the 2025 BF sales. You don't know all the secrets yet, you'll get there, be patient!

  • Don't tell me you do the cancel order/refund and cancel order cancellation on every order?

Or new account for each order and transfer to main account? Do they even have free setup for new accounts?

Hm, I think I don't want to even know.... did you do the same with KS-LE{A...E}?

I don't usually do it, but when the wallet starts to complain I do waive a few setup fees. Didn't do it for the LE-B for instance.

To go more into the details. The right to cancel an order via the OVH website (there's a button on French accounts) starts the moment you order, not when you receive the server, and the period is 14 days. So if it takes 20 days to deliver a server, if it's shit or you don't need it anymore because it came so late, you can't cancel anymore when you get it. What I do then is I cancel the order before the 14th day. Then OVH's magic happens and this does not kill the order. Instead the server is cancelled the moment you receive it. So you can still see what's inside before it gets suspended. That's the most common reason why some of my servers don't have setup fees.

For others like the KS-LE-1, it was just to see if 26skLET was a typo or not, ninzo59 said it wasn't... fuck setup fees in this case.
