i actually had him away this summer for 2 weeks. he was very very sick, funnily after many attempts and procedures, it was blood transfusion that saved him.. weirdest things happen these days... i don't even want to think about poor cats somewhere just grown for blood harvesting, only since it's all official, big vet hospital in big city, I can just hope they are having good lives, you know?

i mean, there are exclusions of course. in "kids these days".. my first love was Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.. I loved their music.. Wolf to the Moon. Rising. Black Masquerade.. Haven't heard since maybe 90s but still remember so good.. Back then i was listening to great rock and the beginnigns of EDM (trance, breakbeat, jungle, oh jungle)...
That's sad. It's hard for me too if my pets fall ill. Unlike humans, they can't communicate the pain they feel, but, being their caretakers, we can feel the pain as well.

some people call albums - "CDs".. they were released on CDs.. a FLAC rcording on your desktop is still a CD.. IMHO

I pull all mine to ogg vorbis, cant afford good enough audio equipment to be worried about the small drop in quality

More format shifting than archiving them, I lost two discs total to discrot in the past, just making sure I dont loose more of my music

what's a cake case? we used to do those photo-album types of storage for CDs.. books? what were they called? i had 100s of CDs in my car burnt from PC, just kept them in middle compartment no protection or anything.. in early 2000s. was not so easy to hook up ipods or anything back then, my first car i used a CD to TAPE CASSETTE converter to listen in the car.. not even CD player was there..

I still regret not doing the same to some of my discs. It's almost impossible to save them from rot. Should have archived some old music when I had the chance. Now, if I have to do it, first, I have to get a disc drive (do they still make cd/dvd drive, or is it just br drives now), then recover the discs. Too much headache.

I got spotify - but canceld it after the latest price increase. Thins then I'm listening to MP3 i got for free from Amazon, back in the days when i bought CD's :d
But my dad have a huge collection with CD's and i thought about ripping them - but got no CD player in my mac.
