I cannot tell if it exists with the config as written on the list/ordering page. With a different config not listed, it does.

The Rise-LE-3 was probably the only BF LE ever to surface in ERI in all those years (besides the SYS-LE-2 that is always on the list)

  • can we still place an order for a Rise-LE server in bhs (CA account) but not pay it for a week; so we can cancel (free of charge) in case a better server becomes available?

Octave is working on a solution that will use you're phone NFC thing to tap your card (no limit if the phone is unlocked).

Overall more expensive than last year

Does anyone know what the deal is with the upfront prepayments? I've avoided all forms of commitments with OVH due to issues in the past with them, like not being able to change to a shorter term afterwards, prices shifting massively after the 12 months (while still automatically committing for another 12 months) etc.

I'd consider upfront prepayment for 12 months, but it would be a dealbreaker if it can't be renewed monthly afterwards (just without the 5% discount), as that would mean the only choices at that point would be to cancel or renew for another full year.

  • when ordering a rise-le server the website doesn't give me option to add Windows license. how do I do that? is that something I have to add later ?

They dont do comitment anymore too much problem, either you pay upfront for promotion or you dont get any now

Yes it's a separate section on the website. You can enter it and then move it to the server.

Thanks! Does that mean if you do the upfront prepayment of 12 months, you can simply renew with monthly payments after the first 12 months is done (i.e. not forced to either prepay for another 12 months afterwards or cancel entirely)?

I haven't done 12 months since they changed but I would assume that no, If you want to keep the reduce price it's probably a 12 months renew, you can probably swap to monthly after but it will not be the same price
