    Luckily he managed to survive it, which is pretty rare. Also why they are interviewing us.
    And the Dutch Reanimatieraad (can't remember the correct translation) also made a short movie about it. (Not medically accurate, but more to show how many people have been involved and how they all coordinated to make it a success.)
    Literally nobody expected him to survive this without any brain damage. But here we are, he's healthy and did not get any brain damage.

    Yeah, I think it's called WPW, it's pretty rare. I and some family members have it too, but since it's pretty rare, not much is known about it. And they did not expect it to be this extreme with my brother.

    sheesh.. 200 beats a minute is the game of 20 year olds.. i read somewhere that your max heart rate during hardest of times should never exceed 220-Your_Age .. It is a very correct formula. noticed that mine never really exceeds that, sometimes my watch reports higher peaks like once during my workout or run, but in the very beginning, when body is either excited about the exercise or maybe resents it, who knows.. probably doesn't like it, cause of all the injuries i get from time to time.. today at least neck isn't that bad...

    Yes, an otherwise healthy person with a heartbeat of more than 200 per minute is definitely to be looked into. This is where I have to commend modern smart wear. Some people might just consider increased heart beat normal even when they are idle, and others fail to even notice it. But, smart wear will definitely warn you. SImilar is the ECG on Apple watches that can warn you of an atrial fib event, which has saved many lives.

    thanks to my giving up smoking and starting to exercise religiously since the home stay durign pandemic, i am actually having a sportsman's heart rate.. my idling in a chair watching TV heart rate is around 45.. That is also my sleeping heart rate. i was worried for a while when first found that out, but then i read and researched and kinda became proud of it.. =)

    I am extremely happy for your brother, but, did the Doctors give him any tips on preventing such episodes or give him pointers on dealing with it, if he's alone for example?

    Well, again, I disagree. Moreover, the director is of Egyptian origin. And, he did a very good job at depicting the Egyptian culture, compared to what Black Adam did.

    I haven't checked mine in a long time, also down't have a smartwatch. Have to do it someday cause I have been sitting on my chair infront of the PC for the past few months, absolutely 0 exercise.

    Absoutely. It had such potential, but, they decided to just wing it and it turned out really bad.

    But, yah, marvel being Marvel, just gave up on a full-fledged S2. I haven't yet watched Loki, but, in the last decade or so Daredevil and Moon Knight are the only Marvel shows I enjoyed watching.

    But, yah, marvel being Marvel, just gave up on a full-fledged S2. I haven't yet watched Loki, but, in the last decade or so Daredevil and Moon Knight are the only Marvel shows I enjoyed watching.

    I actually really enjoyed Loki and would definitely recommend it. If you liked Moon Knight and Daredevil, I think you'll like Loki too—it's one of the better ones.
