Tons of random hooks. Mainly for things preventing the registration of domains with specific keywords in them (Ex: "wellsfargo", "fbi", "Mastercard" or other obviously malicious/phishy related nonsense) and many other smaller quality of life things for the admin side of things.
WHMCS marketplace has no real standards and you can literally list a "10X revenue" plugin that just deletes your database and it'll remain listed until enough people complain. Shitty ecosystem that promotes ioncube encoded garbage by default.
