Solid seems to be down? solidseovps.com

Just recently got a great deal from them, but appears my VPS through them doesn't work and neither does their website, currently.

    It's solid because it's frozen.

    Ah, ah, ah.

  • My two servers in FL is up. Also somehow I have no problem accessing their website...

Same here but my server in Florida went down for for about 90 minutes. Not a big deal with redundancy but just sharing so you know it wasn't just you.

  • No issues in Florida. Solid service.

You should probably bookmark the server control panel so you can get straight into your server next time instead of trying to click through 10 times from the client area.

  • mine is up in FL.

Yeah, I am not sure why everybody else didn't have issues, but both their website and my servers were demonstrably down for around 90 minutes. Not a huge deal, I hadn't really begun to utilize the services yet and, according to dang near everybody, they usually have stellar up-time.

Yeah bro, I was in a random thread just browsing around one day on these forums (I'm a heavy lurker, don't post much) and almost couldn't believe the deal. I think it wa $40 a year for 6vCPU, 8GB RAM and 60GB Disk - can't beat it with a stick. Plus I'm actually in the Tampa Bay area. So, double-win.

Despite this minor hiccup, one thing I noticed when I was having issues was that they are normally listed among super reliable providers.

That Big Plate chicken deal has to be one of the best things I seen on LET in a minute.

Well, I was asking because I'm having a problem with packet loss with the “Baby Plan” from the “Chicken Intel Deal” in Tampa as well. According to my Smokeping instances, the problem has been going on for a week, practically since the day I purchased it. The packet loss has been increasing with each passing day instead of decreasing.

Today I opened a support ticket to inquire about it, since managing the VPS via SSH is becoming difficult. So far, they have told me that they are not detecting any faults on their end.

Initially, I thought it was my internet connection, but I have another Smokeping instance in Jacksonville, and it is also detecting packet loss. The strange thing is that my two VPSs, also in Tampa, purchased on Black Friday and Christmas 2024, do not have any of these problems.

After several tests, support found the problem and solved it.
The baby chicken is now as Solid as its siblings.

Yay! That is great. I have high hopes for this provider. :)
