Oh, I am not a fan of Star Trek and the others you mentioned. Infact, never seen any Star Trek movies yet.
utilizing that video gfx card! i recently learned how to use CUDA to help convert videos from BluRays to files on PC, and while x265 on PC takes hours to do the right job, using your graphics card speeds up the process like 100s of times. I got this Criterion Collection of OLYMPICS documentaries from early 20th century till early 21st, has roughly 50+ movies, from 1912 to 2010. early ones without talking, just music accompaniment, still really quite lovely to watch.. some of them i literally cried while watching.. imagine.. all those people competing, most of them dead by now, but their sports achievements live on.. very tear-jerking.. well, at least for me personally.

not a fan of whole Star Trek franchise either, but cartoon is by same people that did Rick & Morty and that's why I will watch it..
Yes, a GPU does have advantages for upscaling and video conversion tasks. Infact, most of my workflow would definitely benefit a lot from a GPU which I don't have.
What do you think of your progress? Feeling closer to the PC yet?

i loved the TV show, very good, very colorful and well designed. but cartoon seems like a waste of time to me, pardon my honest opinion..

Yah, the live action got me interested enough to think about watching the anime. As someone whoha snever watched the anime, I loved the live action.

it's OK, I got whole day ahead of me, but judging by yesterday's volume and adjusted for the dwindling convo in here, making it less opportunities to reply, - i don't know.. probably won't catch up again to you.. i have an idea that you might be hyping up others to have some competition, and eventually you'll just soar, judging from last year's numbers.. you just want others to have a little hope.. Lower Decks was hilarious! I got that on bluray for my Jellyfin library earlier this summer.
I'm glad they made a disc copy. So many shows nowadays are digital-only. So you're either locked in to the platform you purchase them on (since tv shows aren't movies, so they don't qualify for 'movies anywhere' cross library viewing), or you can't even buy them and can only stream them.
Hulu better sell the newest Futurama at some point. I want my own copy, plus all the bonus features you get with discs.
I mean, I watched this century's work on Star Trek - was it 2-3 movies or something? But series - I don't think so.. Seems kinda outdated to me, no offense. I know people are die-hard fans of this show and all of its spinoffs, especially here in USA, most of them NERDS too, so we got a good RACK for them here!

You are right to have those suspicions. But, let me clarify for once and for all. I am extremely competitive (not IRL though). But, from the beginning I have been saying, I am not aiming for the PC. I'd love to have the Ally, but, I am pretty sure, I won't win it, because I will get super busy starting Dec 1. So, I have to get a few comments in before that date, so that I have atleast 10% chance of being in the top 5. And please, do not judge by just checking the stats page for the last 2 years. If you were to go through the threads themselves, you would see that I just love to keep the hype up on these threads, and that includes hyping other members up, not giving them some false hope. I'd never do that. That being said, it's gonna be extremely tough to win the gaming PC, with me here or not.

I wholeheartedly agree. I did this recently with ARKANE - combines 2 of my loves: a show made after the game and a cartoon, and what a cartoon, what style, it's soooo unique, so now I own blurays, 2nd season just came out.. i was soooo entertained, can't begin to describe. i really recommend, if someone hasn't seen.

@bchot Just wanted to add this as well. Please don't get disheartened by looking at my pace. There are gonna be atleast 3-4 others I know of, who are slowly gonna catch up. So, consider my pace a simple benchmark of what you have to beat. That being said, this year, this is me taking slow. If you were to check the older threads, you would see that the competition within top 2 is almost everytime cutthroat. But, fortunately, mostly we have an understanding of who wants what.
