Manila/Phillipines VPS
Hey all,
I'm looking for a VPS in Manila(or anywhere in the Phillipines, really) to host some internal tools for my company.
Minimum requirements:
- KVM
- 4GB DDR4
- 2vCPU
- 50GB NVMe
- 2TB transfer limit
- 500Mbps bandwidth
Nice-to-haves:
- Dedicated CPU cores
- 1Gbps bandwidth
- Automated snapshots/backups
Thanks!

This is an exotic location. Very exotic. So far I was only able to find @SurferCloud but their machine is behind NAT.
Hi!
Please take a look at this thread, I think @bela may be able to offer something
However keep in mind this is very uncommon location and thus the prices could be a bit high compared to Singapore for example.
Thanks for the information. We're using a latency-sensitive application so Manila is definitely preferred, but if there are other locations that have good latency I'm open to them.
I forgot which provider it was, but one of my coworkers pinged a Singapore looking glass and they had about 200ms ping so I immediately wrote it off. I will re-evaluate with multiple providers.
@bela Could you please clarify if VPS MNL2 has a 100Mbps network connection or 1Gbps?
https://www.servergalactic.com/vps-server.html says 100Mbps, https://my.servergalactic.asia/index.php?/cart/55-philippines/&id=1359 says 1Gbps.

@aluy Any chance you know what the available bandwidth is? It's not mentioned on there.
interesting

That's the monthly data transfer limit which was erroneously labeled as "bandwidth;" I'm referring to the network connection speed.
they have a speedtest at https://doc.lightnode.com/Speedtest/Speedtest.html
Lightnode and 3hcloud is the only ones I've seen with Phillipines.
Sorry, It is 100Mpbs, will get that corrected.
Just another comment if I may, our VPS plans are unmetered (with fair use) and hence a lot cheaper than Lightnode. Also we do not block ports, like port 25 for example. We allow mail servers as long as you are not using it for bulk mail..
Your Manila LG is down.
Only the link was wrong on that page. Here it is:

maybe alibabaCloud.for new user, just pay for it $9.9/yr.
you will get some good service
