Could anyone with the EU email hosting plan comment on the speed and connectivity? I currently have the US version but being based in Europe, it's sometimes not as responsive as I'd like it to be.
What backup solution has been selected in the end? I see a note that "ftps on port 8221" is available, but no instructions provided in the portal

The ftp is just for accessing the cloud storage.
We haven’t rolled out any easy way to pull down a full domain. It’s still being decided on.

@Francisco how to import the archived mails? In Cpanel, roundcube webmail, mails can be Archived and tagged in different labels. But while importing to smartermail, it will be just shown in inbox and nothing called Archive. Right?
Is there Active directory or Oauth support?

I'm looking for an email hosting service that allows email relaying. Am I able to use cranemail as an email relay? You're lifetime plan looks great, it's more than enough for me. With a lifetime plan I don't have to bother with subscriptions or pay a reoccurring "I'm alive" fee every year, it's really convenient and something less I have to worry about. I haven't purchased yet because I'm hoping for a black Friday offer soon.
Relay is fine depending on the volume.
There's no BF special pricing from what I've heard from Mike. There will be some retroactive goodies though.

If you're looking for open relaying from a bunch of different domains, that won't work. The domain needs to be registered and configured in the system, plus you're emailing from those matching SMTP details.
And what Fran said, no BF specials coming on the lifetimes. There might be a little spec bump and it'd apply to all plans - new and existing.
